Alex Modny did a poor job wording his article, can you please tell him to get his butt back here and clarify his horribly written post?

Is he saying that WH gear and the new gear gives full expertise? SO if i'm already full wh then there is no reason whatsover to invest in new gear? What does bolster actually boster? Just expertise? Will pve gear be better for pvp?

Make more sense please.

Is anyone even reading this? Stuns are the stupidest thing ever in WarZones. They make the game unplayable. Is anyone going to respond????

He said the higher the gear the more secondary stats (like crit) there will be on the gear. Went ahead and pasted part of it in my edit
Later sets will have more primary, secondary and tertiary stats and increasing these stats will be how PvPers gain power in PvP, rather than going after a pure PvP stat.

Just try to get a good team together so you can counter stun effectively.
And try not to go rambo on a group of people.

For the level 30-54 bracket, what happens with the people who already have War Hero or Elite War Hero gear? Are they just going to have the upper hand when PvPing?

I really hope this makes PVP more even and fair. I get flat out sick of trying to play when it takes 20 games to get 1 win because of playing against people in full EWH gear 21K health or pre-mades. You cant even do anything. ZERO fun. Not a single person in my 200+ man guild will do PVP after lvl 50 because of this stuff. It's just not enjoyable. It needs to be even and skill based....not gear based destroying.

Then you get morons saying its your fault.. Yes, fighting against people in EWH gear fully Augmented is MY fault....

Hoping this fixes that.

Nice changes , I just really hope Brackets does not equal longer ques.People fly through low level pve and I would imagine that the lower brackets will be low on players.

No they are not because you are wrong. Getting rid of stuns altogether, are you crazy? How the hell am I going to stop them getting over the fires, intervene moments before the finish line, stealthily take out defenders and cap there nodes, or defend my own? Take away stuns and you completely mess up the game, I use my stuns in warzones far more than I do in PvE. They are of extremely important and I cannot understand how you could think otherwise.

Yes, sometimes you get swarmed or stunned out of oblivion - but that's how the game works. It's not meant to be easy and it doesn't male the game unplayable, but rather playable.

So yeah, BioWare is not going to respond because they don't want to offend the community but posting '/facepalm'

Agree^

And just to add to this thought, removing stuns would turn swtor into Battlefront II. Remember that game? It was hella fun when it came out. You could rambo 24/7 and didn't have to worry about any kind of team strategy if you didn't want to.

But who still plays that game regularly? It's time has passed, largely because it just wasn't designed for long term consumption. Either way, would millions be paying monthly for it (or support a FTP scheme)?

I can't help but gripe when I'm chain stunned to death or pulled into the fire repeatedly (by my own guildmates when playing on opposite sides!). But I'd like to pay an honest compliment to those of you who gripe about the stuns: You're likely good enough of a player to attract the attention.

Time to take it to the next level. Chain stuns work on those that don't have the support of the team, either because they rambo or because they play the peripheral game (which is fun too, not knocking it) and get caught alone. When you are able to quickly identify the other team's healer(s) you can focus on interrupting them, marking them, and trying to burn them down. Yes this will get you stunned and killed at first, but when you are confident calling shots you can tell your pug to focus on your targets for better team synergy.

You will find this game much more enjoyable if you use the mechanics to your advantage rather than resisting and wishing the game to change to your ideal.
