As it has been pointed out already by a few people, the 22 mods and enhancement have been useless for many months and the price will not go up regardless if the event is running or not.

Hehe, this thread is funny.
The OP is specifically talking about the effect of these cheap 22's flooding the market, which is effecting the price of the mid level mods he makes and sells.

Yep, why spent any money when in one level you'll be getting a whole Tionese set for free, or at least very close to it.
Thanks for showing us you listen to our feedback, Bioware!

Kind of pointless to be buying any level 22 enhancments, and has been that way for a long time. Also, the materials for just about anything you need to craft has always been more expensive than the acutal item made. it can cost you almost 50K to get the mats for a MK-6 augmention kit, or you can buy a kit for just 30K. I make my money just selling mats, since the GTN is pretty screwed up.

Those end game mods never sell well because they are very easy to obtain through dailies.Green, Blue and Even Purple drop randomly and Some are even given out from Daily mission Rewards. Vendors sell them for commendations for resale too.

Try making lower level mods. Usually people will want to gear them selves and their companions before going to the next world and often find them selves short on Coms. They are cheaper and quicker to make. You Check the GTN to see what levels sell best.

Why would you necro a 2.5 month old thread instead of making a more relevant topic?

Since planetary comms can be farmed so easily, one could find the right mod/enhancement that has a high selling value and flood the market there and leave the ones with low prices alone.

You have no sympathy from me. You played the market and lost. You lost because you did not have full knowledge of market conditions. You did not know of the increased frequency of drops so you did not take the flooding of the market into account. Happens in real life all the time. Nobody is trying to "get" crafters. They're simply willing to sell an item they did not expect to get for a few credits while they can.

You call the guys who did this "stupid," but they made money and you did not. Seems to me their credit balance increased while yours decreased. If that's "stupid," pass it around.

Same thing happens on the Cartel Market. Bioware puts an armor pack on sale for 80% off and suddenly all those 'really smart" brokers who have been turning coins into credits are stuck with armor on the GTN that won't sell because they've been undercut.

I can understand that you are angry and upset, but that's how markets work. Blaming someone else, and ESPECIALLY suggesting you have been targeted, makes no sense at all. Chalk it up to a learning experience and do better next time.

Because the underlying point is still valid today and some people, like me, never saw this thread when it first started.

A new thread with a link to this one would make the topic more relevant and the link could support the statement.

I think you're kidding yourself with your prices, a level 20ish blue enhancement isn't worth anywhere near 25k.

Another thing with low level items like that is people make them to re them into purple, then dump the excess blues. To be perfectly honest with you if this has you in a literal fit of rage, you might want to quit crafting for profit all together.
