And yes, an unintended advantage to certain players is an exploit.
So I'm guessing you just want us who don't like the normal leveling experience to go through it? I'm pretty sure those that have done it 5, 6, 7, x amount of times would surely agree with you.

And if it's an exploit, it's funny how us players who made use of this advantage never got sanctioned for it. Maybe it was because we were being... creative.

Leveling this way brought back a sense of community I hadn't seen in a while. Was fun.

There were three scientists and a frog. They cut of the frogs front legs and commanded it to jump. The frog jumped.

They cut of its hind legs and commanded it to jump. The frog did not jump.

They concluded that a frog with no legs can't hear. ;p

You are absolutely correct.....and then the usual suspects fought hard, and very loud, to squash that.....as we have seen so many times before.

*Sigh*...
Yes indeed it does. Abusing an untended game mechanic to gain in advantage is inherently an exploit. That can't even be argued. EAWare just won't call a spade a spade because it's easier to take the cop out than responsibility and hold people accountable for violating terms. They admitted it wasn't intended, people got lucky.

You're absolutely right. I feel that near-instant shortcuts to the level cap in an MMO are absolute garbage and should not exist. This is a good viewpoint to have, since developers seem to agree with me 99% of the time.

Nowhere in the definition of 'exploit' does it say that an exploit is only an exploit if people get punished for it. Read it again.

I grouped up with 23 other players leveling to 50 too, and it was way more fun than questing through planets. Planet questing and grindy and boring as ****. Space questing is just as on-rails as planet questing, albeit faster. Warzone questing is way too slow, and that goes to show that BioWare wants you to go through the boring planet quests or boring space missions.

Going through planets also makes this game feel like a freakin' single-player game. I don't play single-player games, nor did I intend to expect this feeling doing normal questing in this game. I rarely ever run into anyone if I'm lucky enough, and the chances are even rarer walking past a group of players. With Ilum, the environment around me felt alive and active. Random players were grouping up, talking, and most importantly, HAVING FUN. You can't have fun leveling normally.

I don't care about Story. Voice overs were the reason the stories for both the class and side-quests were so bland and irrelevant, and EAWare doesn't even care about Story anymore. All they care about is the **** Cartel Market. My signature below even shows it. (Btw, I think PvP is a lot more fun so I do not PvE!)

Am I mad? Yes, it looks like it. I'm just more disappointed with EAWare caring about such a ridiculous issue. The Gree event is also ending this weekend, so why not just leave it and let those who hate the fastest way to level (space and/or planet questing) do it this way? Some even said it felt like being in SWG.

EAWare, fyi—there are much bigger issues to fix than this crock of bantha poodoo.
Would you like to whine a little more? I love how you toss out insults right out of the gate and then expect people to take you seriously? Do yourself a favor, get over yourself.

good point there..the teams were fun and got along well. large group of people working together and no one perv watching eachothers gear to make sure they were "up to standard"

I watched the devs on another game comment as to how surprised they were by the players solution for a new boss. The devs hadnt thought of the way we came up with. They were impressed but commented that their intended way was actually easier. they just hadnt given out any hints as to how to do it. An unintended mechanic certainly. exploit, no way.
