Just thought I'd point this out...... The VAST MAJORITY of SWTOR players are in North America. Therefore peak hours = the peak hours for the MAJORITY of the players. As much as it sucks to say it, Europe will always take the back seat, because you aren't the majority of the player base and this game is about making money. Get over it, life isn't fair

It costs approximately TWO CENTS per hour to subscribe to the game.
If you submit an invoice to BioWare for the downtime, perhaps they'll mail you a check.

The point of the thread isnt the maintenance on it's own. it's the Unscheduled maintenance and we have had a bit much of that the past few days if you ask me.

Either agree with a statement a person makes or don't but don't be childish and start namecalling or fingerpointing with stupid remarks at people, Yes this is the almighty anonymous internet but that does not mean you have to be an ******e to others because you can (and prolly will) get away with it.

Are you a lawyer? Twisting words, well done.

You seem to not understand what customer service is, yourself. Know that there are subscribers who, like you, pay for the game and haven't been able to play, servers on. Bug fixes and emergency maintenance fixes some of these bugs, allowing these subscribers to play once the servers are back online. Seems like you only care about what affects you. Sure, someone else may be able to play now but you couldn't for a while.

I'm not a fanboy. I dislike EA as much as anyone, but fixing bugs is part of running a game. If you find a bug that needs to be fixed now, it needs to be fixed now. (When you've got to go, you've got to go.)

Soon as I read this post title, I turned my head to the right a bit. I saw, through my window, clouds and trees and buildings and pavement and sunshine and birds and people and all manner of amazing things.

Maybe you should try stepping onto the other side of that glass once in a while, especially when the game on the other side of the glass you are now reading is down.

was exactly the same when they did the trial weekends. atleast the 1st weekend needed 2 or more patches and many hours of downtime.

all this for people that are only going to jump in for free then move on to the next thing thats free lol.

did they learn from that mistake? erm evidence is here.
