Did you test it on the test server? Oh wait... maintenance is NEVER patched to PTS for testing on the test server. Your proper target of attack here would be the internal QA team at Bioware. That is all.

You're stupid. It's not even a full 40 min downtime and I think you need to know that YOUR peak hours of playtime are not THE peak hours of play time. This is probably the BEST time to restart it because I'm sure like 80% of the SWTOR population is doing something else at this time of the day.
