I honestly don't care and I find it quite odd other people do.
I'm in the same camp as you. I could care less how other people choose to waste their time leveling a toon.

Have to say though, it sure was fun wiping huge groups of these farmers, but I guess that's just on PvP servers.

It all started on a pvp server and the incidents of 50's rolling grind groups was rare since everyone was to busy leveling

One of the hilarious (and temporary) side effects of this, though, is the influx of poorly equipped, generally crappy players in lowbie WZs and probably at 50.

I've been doing WZs all morning and it seems like in almost every game I play there are at least 3 rodeo clowns on each team with fewer than 11k hp running around as free kills. Many look like they're fresh off the sub-20 boat- no relics, level 15 weapons, MAYBE implants if they're lucky, etc. I doubt most of them even have their skills trained up to their 40s, much less their 20s.

The end result for my "twink" 40s gunslinger is... well... yeah, I'm sure you can guess. This is ridiculous for anyone who has spent time and credits developing their character.

So yeah, keep on power levelin'! My gunslinger loves it!

Dont we have enough of this already?? I mean everytime people come up with a way to play the game that Bioware does not approve of they introduce a "fix" to put a stop to it.

Everyone has a different idea of what is and isnt fun - Just let people play the game however they want to

As Im a person who likes to take it nice and slow I still only have 2 characters at 50 even though Ive been in this game non stop since EGA and Launch. But thanks OP, at least now I know i can go to Ilum and get some extra XP so that I can go through the class quests (which is what I really want to do) while skipping the planet quests and sidequests which can be tedious and get boring after your 3rd time of doing it.

You just gave me a way to speed up my class questing - THANKS!
No, actually if it's exploiting people want BioWare to crack down on it so BioWare doesn't look like a bunch of hypocrites when they talk about game integrity and exploits as Stephen Reid made this quite long post about how they take exploiting and abiding by the EULA seriously. Something being unintended doesn't make it ok, it's like spilling hot coffee on yourself and blaming the restaurant because they didn't tell you it was hot.

Had two players in a WZ just now, a sorc and an assassin, with 7k and 8k hp, respectively.

Two and three shotted the sorc... 8 times in a row. His team must've loved him.

I like how people are ignoring the good points people bring up against it .

It's just "HURRR it doesn't effect anyone !". Well, the problem is it does effect the game. When you zip from 1-50 on Illum there's something you're NOT doing. You're not grouping up for 1-49 flashpoints, warzones, planetery heroics. You know that stuff you probably did the first time around? Yeah, people still look to do that, especially new players and this game somewhat depends someone on people making alts to keep the lowgame healthy. The people high-fiving each other over comments for leveling to 50 in a day are also the people that whine about the leveling process and don't understand why it's there in the first place, ie....people without common sense. Keep that in mind.

Pretty sure that the power levelers belong to a different demographics than those who are taking their time with FP'es and side missions. I havent even finished story on my latest chars, that stuff gets old after a while and I'd pay good money to be able to click a blue frog on the live servers.

Hell, I'm probably helping the game by power leveling instead of spending time in lowbie warzones. The pwnage is so severe that I make people quit

Yeah, I've got 5 50's and working on a 6th and I understand as I skip a lot of plent stuff but having a option like this is ridiculous because people go to the point of least resistence. It's not just a particular set of people, there were hundreds out there. Meanwhile my new tank character is sitting in que for a FP like it's any other day of the week and not double XP weekend. That kind of stuff is not good at all.
