Cool comment, let me guess you didn't read what I posted and just want to slander me.

Back in the old days there was those that thought the earth was flat, all sudden people came with facts that that was not true and the earth was round.

Dealing with skeptical people is something some can't deal with, I happen to one of those people that plays devils advocate and does my research on any given subject known to man.

I have done mine on this very topic and I got astounding evidence where I know people are using scripts to enhance some of the combat in this game to gain a edge.

I guess we can call me hearsay since I can't post any links or provide any proof.

It still don't make it untrue or false.

There are already whole guilds who wont do rateds due to this issue. Mine being the least of them. We have not done rateds since before the POT5 merger due solely to this issue. The fact that ingorance is bliss doesnt mean I shouldnt bring up what I see to be a major issue.

Question: OK, so the people you think (or know) are cheating, what do you think they are doing? Using their razer or logitech device's macro (simple replay) ability or do you think they are using something more like MG (not sure of the capability there, not so interested in trying to figure out from the MG website)?

TANGENT: the only way I see to make a significant dent in the macro/hacking area is for SWTOR like games to become console only. Given that 1080p HD TVs are the norm these days there is no reason an MMO could not be a console game. I.e. no reason you couldn't hook a mouse and keyboard up to a console. Sure, you might still have logitech/razer macros but client hacks and bots would be a lot harder to use. Software for a single platform (or 3) is far easier than dealing with 6 million motherboard * video card * misc hardware combinations. The beauty of the XBox, PS, iPhone and iPad models are that the test matrix for software is sooo much smaller. (I mention iPhone etc. because it is another closed hardware system).

Hey, I started a thread over at DarthHater in the PvP forum with details of PvP macro cheating. I won't post a link to the thread here but if you go to DH forums it should be easy enough to find. My username on DH is 'DBCooper'. I recommend carrying on the discussion there.

Darth Hater and several other sites have forums. Perhaps you could pick one of those, start a thread there that has details and then post here something along the lines of



the above (hypothetical post) neither mentions the hacking sites (or software) explicitly nor links directly to the DH forum thread. As such, it may not get removed from these forums.

The tools being used have been disclosed as well as the general methodology. That you can not imagine the advantage offered by these tools seems to me to be a failure of imagination on your part, not an invalidation of the claims of people with first hand knowledge.
