Scripts in PVP

If people want to put this discussion into a category of lets say Bigfoot and UFO's, then so be it.

Fact of the matter is these things do exist in this game,

1. Hackers

2. Third Party Programs

3. Bots

4. Exploits

5. Scripts

Now 4 of them have already came to light on youtube, I can't link them because this thread will get deleted. I also won't link exploit forums where this very topic people are using scripts and hacks to exploit this game.

Of course some will deny or even talk around this topic acting like they know a thing or two, well I am here to tell people they are being blind to the fact of this very matter, and Bioware has been ducking it like no other.

It's ok to be skeptic about some things and I understand, fact is people are not as aware as they may think.

I can't say what is going on on other servers. I do watch videos of top PvP guilds playing, though.

Fact: I get accused of cheating probably once a week. I'm not even in the top 10 players on the server. I know for a fact I don't cheat. No scripts, 3rd party programs, etc. I have no idea what the accuser is seeing, it might look fishy to him. What I do know is I generally get accused when I'm winning, not when I'm losing -- and normally by someone who I don't recognize. So, yes, I brush off most "cheat" accusations on the forums.

I'll be honest, when I first started PvP'ing I ran into a mirror class guy who would always beat me 1v1. Always. Same gear, not even close. He hit me twice as hard as I hit him. It was frustrating and I would say to people "I don't understand, why does he hit me harder than I hit him?".... No one could explain it and deep down I thought this person must be cheating because I had no other explanation.... Then I learned that you could stack wz adrenals with relics and magically I was hitting other people as hard as he was hitting me.

To my own benefit, I never accused the person of cheating. In my head I couldn't explain it and I wanted to believe he was cheating.

TL;DR: No one is going to take the community seriously if they keep throwing out the word "Cheats" and "Hacks" on everything they don't understand.

It should not be a surprise that cheating and hacking is going on though. I mean we are talking about things that do exist in this game and some players have been caught doing it.

I understand people get frustrated when they see this due to the fact people claiming hacks or exploits might not know if they are seeing something solid or real.

Fact of the matter is this isn't talking about God or Jesus or UFO's or Bigfoot, this is talking about things where proof is on youtube and on forums, the proof is already out there.

You have to search for it.

This thread is made for Bioware to comment in, people being skeptical about this issue is going to happen and its the nature of the beast when a topic like exploiting surfaces.

People can't help themselves to jive in with rude comments and off-topic slander.

Back in the old days there was those that thought the earth was flat, all sudden people came with facts that that was not true and the earth was round.

Dealing with skeptical people is something some can't deal with, I happen to one of those people that plays devils advocate and does my research on any given subject known to man.

I have done mine on this very topic and I got astounding evidence where I know people are using scripts to enhance some of the combat in this game to gain a edge.

I guess we can call me hearsay since I can't post any links or provide any proof.

It still don't make it untrue or false.

if it's something that gives an unfair advantage, such as teleporting or whatever, that is both obvious and game-breaking

if its just automation for stuff you could easily do yourself, i really don't care. i know i don't cheat, and i kick azz. if i have come upon anyone using automation, i havent noticed and it hasnt made any difference

if anything, automation would be a disadvantage because they have rotations queued up and circumstances can change at any moment making those scripted abilities sub-optimal

you know you can increase/decrease the delay time between actions in the preferences right? lol

Anyone wasting their time writing scripts sucks at this game and certainly has no *********** clue how to play. Or they wouldn't be writing scripts to help themselves pvp lol

Don't go home at night thinking some one beat you because of a script. They beat you because they played better...

That's ability queue.
