This is how space should be

I don't think anyone in this thread has said they want TOR to be SWG. However SWG had some features that some people would like to see ingame. Screw what people thought of buggy ground quests, broken combat, lag in pvp etc. Noone is asking for that

It seems that the OP would ilke TOR to have a similar space combat game to JTL. EvE's space combat sucks (point and click to move isn't exactly thrilling imo). While the rest of EvE may be awesome, the actual combat isn't when compared to SWG's attempt imo and those who prefer flight sim combat (which EVE is definately NOT) look at SWG's JTL as an example.

All the 'SWG sucked, failed and is better off dead' comments have little to do with what the OP asked for as noone believes SWG failed due to the space element. Noone with an IQ over 70 anyway

You can be for the idea or against it but the rest of the SWG comparisons/comments are irrelevant to this discussion.

It really depends on the costs. I do know that the ones hooked on it will more than likely spend cartel coins for added ships, decals, laser colours, missile effects etc. I have no figures as I'm just a fan and have no idea as to TOR's costs if they were to introduce such a system. There's a potential to make money for BW if they add it...would it turn a decent profit? I have absolutely no clue.

I'll voice my desire for it and if BW choose to not implement such a system then so be it.

I want TOR to be SWG.

I wanted TOR to be SWG also...until it launched and I enjoyed it for what it is. I'd love to have some features added to TOR eventually but even in this state it's still a fun ride.

How about some non-combat activities to do while waiting for raid days or for those weekends when FP's and levelling alts just doesn't cut it.
