I'm pretty sure 2.0 will hit live servers on a Thursday because of the 5 day early access. Everyone will get the new skill trees and have their points reset, but only pre-order early access people will be able to level past 50, go to the new planet, or play the new content. The following Tuesday there will be a patch that unlocks the content to the people without early access and maybe deliver some quick fixes to problems found over the weekend.

i don't think the expansion is a mere few weeks away...we still have 1.7.2 and 1.7.3 to come yet. 2.0 perhaps (but i doubt it) but definitely not the expansion.

PTS has so many issues: it would make sense that Bioware thinks it's okay to go live on April 2nd. Hasn't stopped them before from putting out something broken with bugs, why not have a full content patch of them!
