The expansion itself will be the content and the separation where people who buy the expansion get to go and those that do not get halted. It will have the cut scenes, the quests, the new gear and the planet with mats and whatever else content needs to come along.

Every player from F2P to subscriber will get 2.0 but only the expansion buyers will get access to the expansion content and I'd be shocked if we don't get 2.0 before we get makeb and the full expansion.

Then again, maybe were saying the same thing but in 2 different ways.
For the most part I think we are. I think the least confusing way to put it is that whether you can access both at the same time or different times, when the expansion arrives it won't be called 2.1, it's still 2.0, because they are coupled.

Also, another thing to point out, the 2.0 PTS patch notes include level 55 and the new ops/fps, which are expansion specific.

Yet PTR doesnīt include Makeb, so having 55 hardmode dungeouns doesnīt realy prove anything. PTR is "2.0" but itīs not RotHc.

And the only reason they have 55 on the PTS is to allow people to test the Op, FP, PvP aspects of the 55 game.
On the Internet, you can be anything you want. It is strange so many people choose to be stupid.

The only thing they left out of the PTS from the expansion is Makeb, and that's being tested on the closed test server. They've avoided releasing it publicly for what I think are obvious reasons.

Reporting this as spreading false info.

If no action is taken by the dev, then it is probably true.

Lol, it has nothing to do with false info whatsoever. It is an opinion and a guess.

No idea where you are coming from but last time I checked, there's a freedom of opinion in the west...

Another opinion; Makeb will not be tested publicly before the launch in order to keep the secrets unrevealed.

Why is lvl55 expansion specific? Everything I'm reading tells us that anybody will be able to get to lvl55 with or without the expansion.

Then you must not be reading anything with facts in it:

Looks like the companions 101 is going in the order of companions received, so it's got to be Mako next.

On the subject of communication, one thing I think the community team could help out on a bit is clarifying 2.0 v. RotHC. I keep seeing pages of threads of people arguing whether 2.0 is RotHC or whether they are separate. We all know Makeb isn't included on the PTS, but is 2.0 going to be released at the same time as RotHC, or before? It seems clear to me that we need the digital purchase to reach level 55, but some people don't think that's very clear.

Here is a bit more clarification on the differences between Rise of the Hutt Cartel and 2.0 put as simply as I can!

What subscribers will get without purchasing Rise of the Hutt Cartel:
Class changes and balancing levels 1-50
Any itemization/world changes which affect levels 1-50
Legacy Achievements

What subscribers will get if they do purchase Rise of the Hutt Cartel:
New Operation: Scum and Villainy
Nightmare Mode Terror From Beyond
Upgraded level 55 Hard Mode Flashpoints
Level cap increase to 55
All new Makeb storyline
The new Operation and Hard Mode Flashpoints in Game Update 2.0 are Level 55 Elder Game Content. The level cap increase to 55 is included with the purchase of the Digital Expansion: Rise of the Hutt Cartel. Free-to-Play restrictions apply. Visit the Free-to-Play Features Chart for more information.

If anything, I expect they would do a login process change ahead of an expansion release, just to separate the possible complications it presents with eveyone piling on the servers to play and plenty of old timers coming back for another try.

There is nothing that directly connects the two events that I can see, other then desire.
Yeah, it sounds like the OP is trying to scam people. As you say, the fact that they're overhauling login procedures on April 2nd makes me think the expansion will go live some time after that.

On a separate note, will Makeb ever go live on the open PTS? That I would view as an actual indication that the expansion go-live date had been firmed up.
