Healing In Warzones (Issues with Kills/Commendations)

I completly agree. As being a Sith Sorc healer, i get an average of 2 medals per round. Id rather not have to waste my force just to get a "kill", when that force could be used to keep someone from dying.

They need to make it so healers that are just healing get just as many medals as someone dpsing. Take into account for how much dmg to healing is done, if someone has 10 tims as much healing as damage then they should be rewarded for it, since they are doing there job and keeping your team alive.

As IA-O, I throw frag grenades every CD and do push out damage and shank. It's better than Rift, where you got credit for merely being alive on the map.

i think you guys are doing something wrong.

I have top heals in EVERY game warzone I am in. I also have one of the top kill counts, with very few KBs.

Being close in the action might be the key also I make sure i am not Just healing, throw out some dots, throw out some stuns and CC people.

Don't be a spam healer in the back, they arent as helpful as you may think.

How am i doing something wrong if im just healing my team. I spec'd heals to heal myself and others. If im gaining less medals then everyone because of this why even bother having heals in the game.

Im a healer doing my job, your a dpser doing your job, i shouldnt be punished for the fact i chose to heal and not dps. With the limited resorces, you have a choice to make, throw out a little damage or heal, i choose to save my resorces for what im here for....HEALING!

Being the person in the back spaming heals can make or break a game. I can save the guy carrying the ball in hutt ball cause the other team is after them and not me, my minor damage wont do him any good buy my huge heals will.

To make it more far as far as medels, you shouldnt get one for getting "kills" since healers dont kill, they heal that is there job, end of story.

I do feel a slight difference but usually come out with around the same stats as the sage above me.

As an operative I am much more than just a healer, I make sure that I always throw in a grenade, corrosive dart, flash bang, debilitate or sleep dart depending on the situation.

If Its just me and an ally against an enemy I won't waste my time just healing my ally, I will help him control and burn down the enemy.

I usually always have 100k+ healing, over 10 kills, 1 killing blow at least and around 6 medals.

The disparity is not that large, if you are only coming out of PvP with 2 medals or so then you are doing something wrong, as a healer you have so much more to offer than just heals.

So you are healing, getting commendations for healing. DPS people are dpsing, getting commendations for dpsing. You as a healer want to get dps commendations without actually doing any damage? Way to go bro.

As a healer we get credit for healing, but we don't really get credit for people saved. (Unless I have missed a "bracket" on the scoreboard)
Dps' get credit for damage done as well as for people killed.

However personally I don't care that much about what kills I get. I care more for trying to keep people alive (myself included) as well as the objectives.

If you just heal and nothing else you get 2 commendations, 75k healing and 1 heal over 2.5k

That is it.

If you just DPS and nothing else you get about 6 commendations at least.

Way to go bro, try doing some research next time.
