Note: An editoral comment by a 3rd party internet article =/= what EA said.

EA said they are putting micro-transactions into all their game properties. The editorial distorted that to mean P2W, even though there is as yet no evidence of P2W in EA games, this one included.

I hardly call a quote from financieel directeur Blake Jorgensen a third party comment.

So, I await your reply on this one?

Or is the financial director also a third party person from EA?

It was implemented in Dead Space 3.

Micro-transactions does not equal Pay-to-Win.

As it is stated in the article that people pay money to get BETTER weapons INSTEAD OF PLAYING FOR THEM sounds ALOT like P2W to me.

Lunch Meat and Bolonga sound a lot of like to some people too. But Bolonga is a specific type of lunch meat within a wide range of available lunch meats.

What is my point? Well, I'm glad you asked.

My point: it is possible to make micro-transactions = P2W in a game, BUT not all micro-tranactions = P2W. In the context of this MMO (SWTOR) there is as yet NO evidence of P2W, but there is plenty of micro-transaction content. In the context of the article you linked.... it deliberately misrepresents what EA as a company has said and so far demonstrated about their plans for micro-transactions. Even if they do actually put P2W microtransactions into some of their other game properties......unless/until they put them into this MMO it is irrelevant to playing this MMO.

So my article of the paper is wrong and Andryah is right isn't it?

It almost seems that you do not want to accept or even think about having something BAD said about EA.
One would amost think you are a person working for them.

I will tell the folks at the paper that they are doing it wrong and they should speak to the almighty right Andryah about EA. He/She knows better then the people at the top.

And if it is wrong, do you have irrefutable proof from the EA tops it is?
I want hardcopy pressreleases signed and stated!

I'm generally of the opinion that the world would be a considerably better place if people stopped reading everything featured in a newspaper as irrefutable fact.

Things in the newspaper are 99,99% fact...only 0,01% is fabricated stuff.

And that article is not in the 0,01%.

Thank you for aptly demonstrating my point.
