I just passed the part of the game where I had to face Lord Rathari. It came to the point where I could kill him, (get dark side points) Let him swear his alegiance to me, (neutral) Or let him run in shame. (light side points)

I decided to kill him and get the dark side points. I want to know though had I let him swear his allegiance to me or whatever, would he have become one of my companions?

I tried looking through the forum but couldn't find anything about this. I either looked in the wrong place, didn't look hard enough, or there isn't any topic about this at all.

I would really appreciate it if someone could let me know. Thank you.

Well, he doesn't exactly become your companion. What he does promise is that he will help you kill darth baras when the day comes, and then he walks off.
