Is there anything to do to fix lag spikes and bad performance in Warzones and Fleets. It lags when it is a lot of people... It also lags sometimes in larger areas and cities
I have no issues with my internet connection, Average 60-70 Ping.

I got GTX 680 (latest drivers)
i7-970 @ 3.20GHz 6 cores
1600MHz 12GB ram
Windows 7 64-bit

Any tips and help are much appreciated!

Multi gpu card? There is your problem right there. Unfortunately in each patch crossfire/Sli/multi gpu support has got worse and worse and there's nothing but silence on the issue. More people need to speak up too and not just settle for it or quit

Sorry to say,

This game is a hunk of junk. The engine reaches bottlenecks before hardware. It's pretty embarrassing.

Good luck.

lol.

But it ran FINE before all the patches! That's what's irritating, each patch knocked off ten frames here ten frames there. Two more patches and i'll have 0fps!!!!

I don't have SLI. Only a single GTX 680

Sorry to say Meiny, but regardless of your system, you are still going to receive low fps when there's plenty of people around. This engine is a piece of junk. The engine bottlenecks.

Please save yourself a lot of time, and either A) Lower the visible character limit to medium or low, and turn shadows off. Or: B) Save yourself the investment of time in this game, and move to an MMO that respects and supports their community, whilst creating an efficient, quality game.

Refer to my old thread on performance if you wish: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=507316

That's a multi-gpu card is it not? Might be thinking of 690s

Single core for the 680s , I think the 690s might be multi-core.

Thanks for the advice billyconnite, but I still love this game even if there are some issues. This issues could be a little annoying in PVP/WZ, but i guess i'll live with it. I'm looking forward to The Elder Scrolls Online though
