Because, they know better than we do.

We are all non-functioning morons compared to the god-like intelligence of the people working at EAware.

Now, bow your head before they notice you, or all is lost!

Challenge accepted
1) Crash to desktop caused by memory leaks - known issue introduced with 1.4
2) Crash to desktop in flashpoints caused by ?hyperspace effect? - known issue.

Anything else I can do for you?

And that's just the one's I've been hit by.

Why else would they stick around to constantly whine and moan on a game companies forums (for which you have to be a subscriber).
Speaking for myself personally Im a 1st time poster on here, and have also been around since beta. Im talking about all the little annoying things like the client dc's, getting stuck in terrain especially in pvp, the fact that when upgrading gear my stats lower when the gear is equipped compared to what they should be according to the item summary, and tbh yeah the bugs mentioned dont really matter they are more an annoyance its the fact that they dont get addressed and tickets get closed as resolved when they clearly arent. I dont want to come across as a hater of the game but these things start to drive me insane when they affect my gameplay and nothing is done. I think someone mentioned earlier they would like to see the game run by someone else, I would just like to see it run by someone who doesnt hold the ethos of were going to fix it but have no ETA.
What is there to fear? Cast off your fear. Look forward! Go forward! Never stand still. Retreat and you will age. Hesitate and you will die.

That's 2 crashes to desktop that regularly affect a significant proportion of the player base - what's your definition of bad setting the computer on fire? To give a feel for how bad the memory leak is according to the reliability report of every problem I have experienced with this computer this month 70% of them are SWTOR.

The known issues is thread is 70+ items long and that's just the ones they admit to I only listed those two because the requirement was to list 2 game breaking bugs - which I did both of which I have experienced and had a significant negative effect on my playing experience.

most of those bugs are hardly gamebreaking and easy to avoid. The memory leak crash is fixed by relogging every so often, again i've never even heard of that second one.

Bugs exist in every mmo, and looking through that list, a lot of them aren't even bad.

The 1st hits me after 6 hours or so (which then reminds me I've been playing a video game for 6 hours).

The 2nd one is fairly rare problem that hurts people's experience. So while rare it's a big issue for those who have it. The fact that it only effects certain people make me wonder whether they insulted someone at EA and that's their punishment.

/knocks on wood

I haven't experienced either of those. And I have played since beta and (well not since the Gree event) I do HM FPs nearly daily for both my 50s.

My point is like another before me: while I know the 2d does exist, as I have had guildmates suffer from it, I believe the hype of these "game-breaking bugs" doesn't live up to the reality.

1) I really wish all the bugs would get fixed.
2) I'm really happy that I'm going to get more stuff to do in game when the expansion hits.

It's not like the people who are being paid to develop the expansion could be retasked to do bug fixing. What does the OP expect to happen? That all artists, writers, modelers, animators, designers, etc. are laid off until the bugs are fixed?

Silly rabbit.

Heck, my "game breaking" experience seemingly got stealth fixed: the air codes now drop off other humanoids besides the marksmen!
