Awesome way to ruin an event

Well, been playing for a few days on several toons and there has been zero exploit flagging on my PvE server. So... I fail to see what the problem is. The PvE area is not camped out with gankers. The missions are seperate by area and for the most part, those that want to PvE are left alone.

What am I missing?

It isn't a case of believing in something that does not exist, it is a case of it going deeper than in film or books, which show a tiny microcosm of the world, from the perspective of only a very few protagonists. Those art-forms are restricted to 90 mins or 350 pages; the MMO world is not.

Nope. You can do 90% of the content without doing any PVP. People are just over-reacting.

On Jung Ma the pubs are killing the pubs.
And the Imps are leaving each other alone...

That's the exact opposite of the canon in-game, we've created a new Tradition!!!

^This! What is the issue? You can get everything you need without stepping foot in the FFA. Or find some other Care Bears to stand in line with.

Yeah a pvp event...but sometimes it's impossible to do any quest , even in pve area. When you're not being ganked by the other faction 3000 times on pve area, you die every f... time on pvp area.
People that have not much time to play... will hardly accomplish something.
It's very very annoying sometimes.

Isn't all of Ilum a PVP planet with one zone designated as FFA?

You're kidding right? You obviously haven't been on Ilum Instance 3 the past two nights. My guild has been wrecking certain Imp guilds on sight because we don't like them (due to past history trash talking, duel dodging, and ducking Rateds). We have definitely wiped out more Imps than Pubs.

Of course, the Pubs are kill-on-sight too, and that goes for the entire zone.

The first thing we do when we log in is get together and blow up any sort of peace or order at the Central Pylon, both Imps and Pubs can burn for all we care, and usually it's the Imps.

You brought up light-side sith and dark-side jedi. But since our alignment has zero to do with this event, what you spoke of has no place in this. That's the difference in what you're trying to bring into this. It has no basis and nothing to support the reasoning behind it.
