I did hear one person stopped the crashes in 2 computers, both used sound blaster cards and for some reason when he removed them all crashes on these flashpoints stopped .... go figure

Another recently posted lowering shadows to low was a solution as well, so it seems no one solution works for everyone, and some of us just do not crash.

I haven't tried reducing graphics, but minimizing the game does not work at all. It will crash while minimized.

I suspect this is the same as the black talon (hard mode) bug I hit. Very last conversation try to return to station game crashes and the mission does not count as a complete.

on Hard mode this took 45- 60 minutes to complete, I still listen to the dialog options. Are they really suggesting that after I hit repair I get another group run the instance again, and then hope that I dont crash to windows when I finish? Do they assume my time is worthless and I want to spend it testing their software?

They don't "assume" anything. They simply have a lot to do and will get to it as soon as they can. I understand that this is frustrating. I myself ran it like six times before I was able to work around it. The FP isn't going anywhere. I am sure they will be fixing it eventually.

Well I got my official answer from my ticket. They dont help on non class missions and I should try going back into the instance and it might not crash a second time. So I have had to reopen my ticket like every ticket I ever log in the hope that someone will actually read it and not give a copy and paste answer when anyone logs a bug with a mission. Just brillant customer care.

This is really weird because I am now getting the crash but the last 5 times i did this, not 20 minutes ago, It didnt crash.

I still have this issue, even on hardmode which makes it sometimes impossible to get the black-hole token ....
... this is so annoying, please fix it already! Even the imperial-version of the flashpoint is terrible as this one.

It'll say it's reinstalling, but it's not a long or download-intensive process.
It does the same for me and alot of other people whenever our GF for level 50 pops for The Esseles. Repaired game over and over, still crashes at the end when we talk to the main caption to turn the mission in.. It happens on the black Talon as well. Its been an issue for a lot of members

Hi solikepoison,

Sorry, that message is old, and out of date. A workaround that should help is to try tabbing out just as the offending crash is about to happen. This should help for the BT crash too.
