I just want to add that I am running an AMD 6970 and I also have the issue.. But the workaround does work.

I am experiencing this same issue still and it's extremely frustrating. CTD every time at the end of Esseles. I get no credit and the quest is not complete. I go back in the instance after the crash and it wants me to start it all over again. So many play hours wasted because of a problem that has been known for months. Why do I pay for this waste of my time?

Through the last 13 months, I have never encountered a single problem in this game, but now I crash everytime the hyperspace animation starts in the cutscene.

Been happening for a long long time. It's not going to get fixed. Everytime someone complains, CS answers with the same mock-surprise that there's an issue.

The essels and The black Talon have the same issue.

If you run the game in "windowed-mode" and you minimize the game after hitting the last dialogue answer, then the game will not crash.

It's a known work-around that many of us have been doing for about a year now. Even though CS will act surprised to hear there is an issue, don't let them fool you. This has been a problem for a long time, and the wprk-around has been around for as long.

I just posted a response about crashing ~2 hours ago on Esseles, and now I'm doing Foundry and crashed during a hyperspace cutscene, same deal. Definitely a problem with the game. Again, I've never crashed in this game until this weekend.

This /5char. And hey my sub lapses in 17 days - guess what I'm even less likely to do now?

Setting graphics to LOW has also worked for some in the section that is crashing but minimizing is the failsafe workaround to avoid a crash. some have fixed it reportedly some by graphics some by sound changes.

As of today this bug still happens. Minimizing the game does not help.

I am not aware of anyone yet who has experienced issues unable to complete this mission with either lower all gfx and unticking bloom etc or minimizing the game to destop for 20 seconds during the hyperspace animation.

Yes, but if they fixed the bug, then we wouldn't have to change our settings which have been working fine for months. I know it's only supposed to be a temporary work-around, but it doesn't appear that Bioware are staying abreast of the situation (short of telling people it's their hardware).
