I agree we could use more info on what this 'more' is then, as right now we only have vague statements.
I disagree that people will shut up about it even if Bioware gives all this info. As these complaints about June's quote are not much above the level of trolling anyway. Anyone with the slightest bit of sense knows that statement (because it wasn't even a promise) was made as a boast to the game's 'subscription model', the same model that was thrown out the window.
To be honest this is a reason never to make boasts, they come back to haunt you.

And that they do is no one else fault but the boaster.
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

A level increase is a expansion. Just Bioware is milking the game and has a handful of people now working on new content and this is the best they can do for a expansion.

Its obvious the game failed and now EA is trying to get every penny they can to cut loses.

Maybe next time EA wont hire PVP carebears to make a MMO.
No one knows what it means, but it's provocative. It gets the people going.

Quoting Bioware, it will be equal size to the larger planets.

The 5 new levels will occupy players for a fair amount of time, and there's plenty of content to get you there (including a lot of stuff tucked away for the explorers out there). Keep in mind that this announcement is just the start – as we approach Makeb's launch, you'll see more details about the content coming with Rise of the Hutt Cartel!

Oh, I agree with that! It's just.. it wasn't a promise as so many claim and it was certainly not the exact words as people, and especially the OP, claimed were said concerning it.

Still waiting for the day Damion Schubert comes out into an interview and makes a reference to "But James Ohlen promised me a pony!!"

All we see is pre order now! Well guess what meng, I've got a really cool game too thats only $10, pre order now! Whats that, you want details? **** off I'll give you a pretty blue bear if you pre-order though.
Wow, that means if you don't buy it at all, and stay subbed, you're paying $15 for NOTHING at all. Which means you'd be stupid not to plunk down an extra $10 and get the whole DLC "expansion" pack.

See what I did there?

Your mathematical gymnastics are astounding.

Its a good game. I'm a subscriber for a reason, i am happy to help put some money towards a game that i enjoy. And if that means a little extra here and there for new content, and things such as the Cartel Market, so be it.

If you dont like Biowares marketing strategies, dont purchase what they are marketing. What i dont get the most is; why complain at all? To attempt to turn other against Bioware and the game? Do you think that Bioware will see these few complaints about the upcoming non-expansion, and suddenly decide the few complainers have to be appeased? What?

Isn't that part of the basic elements of a 2003 MMO?

On a more serious point, it will be SW:TOR 2.0 (Like we are in 1.6 and Return of Gree is 1.7), that should be more than a content patch so expansion seems the right word.

You don't have to be subbed to play, Free players can buy it and play it.

Its a small expansion if you consider level increases to be what defines an expansion (I do), its an adventure pack or a DLC pack if you don't. But that is just semantics, its larger than any content patch we have had before.
