I guess I'm in that lucky "25%", and I haven't heard a single complaint about this on general chat between the 3-4 different planets I've been to + fleet on my server...

Agree fully with OP - this game is inefficient with resources. They need to sort it out. Some people are having no issues which is awesome. however others that have systems well above system specs are having poor FPS, and to say "fix your computer" is a stupid statement.

Exactly I am just hoping for a big of communication from bioware to say, we are aware and admit these issues exist, we are working on solutions and will be updating as soon as we can.

That is all im asking for a bit of communication that they are adressing the issues.

Then actually to follow through with what they say. I really hope they fix it soon.

Exactly thankyou that is the exact point im trying to get across. The client is whoring alot more resources than it should. It's over double the recommended specs that it is using up....even on the lowest settings when the players comps have 4 times the needed specs.

This is normal, from what I've seen. I don't know about the numbers, but I've always seen two SWTOR instances in the task manager.

**** in one hand and wish in the other see what fills up sooner.

What you're waiting for won't happen because the problem is with your crap computers, not the game.

You're providing no actual troubleshooting steps, you're just dropping anecdotal (remedial/misinformed at that) evidence and then saying it's up to someone else to fix it.

There's definitely an issue in Taris with about 10+ pages of posters who are frozen in the customer service forums. I have a lvl 21 scoundrel that if I log into she's unable to move and the game crashes within 30 seconds. I've sent in tickets two days in a row and haven't even gotten a response.

I had another level 17 character I've been leveling in the mean time. The same exact issue started happening again so I abandoned all my Taris quests and left. No issues since but I still have my main character frozen and unplayable with zero response from customer service.

Taris issue seems to be the quest log. Just turn off tracking for new quests on Taris and you'll be fine til they fix that one.

Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you know that we're rolling out a fix for the issues seen on Taris, and this should be deployed overnight tonight (December 20).

Thanks for your patience while we dealt with this issue.

Hope that helps matey. Mtfbwy
