Lately the launcher has greyed out the play button, preventing me from accessing the game. I've tried to repair the launcher multiple times to no avail please help

Greetings nysis, In addition to what OwenBrooks has recommended, please go to www.swtor.com/download, download the launcher setup file and run the setup over the current installation. After this please log in to the launcher and leave it for 15 minutes, it is possible that there is a patching process on going, but it is not properly displayed on the launcher. Please come back to us if the issue remains. Thank you!

I reset my password and now the launcher works correctly. I also installed the linked repair patch. Thank you!

Its the next day and the launcher is acting up again :-( Cannot press play on launcher I've renamed the launcher to launcherabc and activated fix launcher...no luck. Also the repair option on the launcher is greyed out and cannot be clicked. Been sitting here for an hour now unable to get in...very frustrating.

Ok i found a way to get in...but its bizarre. After I enter my info the patching bar runs across the launcher and for a split second the "play" button lights up. If I spam click play in time I get in, otherwise the patching bar vanishes and the launcher grays out play
