That's what I'm saying. Did someone get a process monitor and watch the threads under the game process? If not then what are they calling a memory leak.

This game slams resources pretty hard on my system but I haven't seen anything indicative of a memory leak (like an OOM exception). I did have the game brit a shick one time but I think that was a video card issue...

Usual troll comments trying to make it out like its user error and BUY A NEW PC newb! Go read the forums and the 100+ posts over the past week about these issues, ask players in game, check the specs of the computers.

Don't get me wrong im not saying its everyone having these issues, it isn't there are players who are reporting no problems with both old and new rigs, but the majority of the players who I have spoken to and read on the forums are having these issues, atleast enough to warrant some serious concerns about the swtor client.

You can pretend the issues are not there all you want, fact is they are and for many players, if they care about there game they need to communicate how there planning to solve these issues.

Saying its all on your end go fix yourself or blaming it all on user error is not going to make this go away. Communicate and admit to the issues and we can go from there.

Thanks. o7 o/

For those who are running the game fine...Great....stop posting useless things. Most of us are having issue with game now that is "offically" released.

My pc ran the game pretty well on beta weekend. Now the frame rate issue is garbaage. The only thing different I have done one thing different, I installed the game with the cd's I bought. There is also a issue with the launcher downloading the patch. So when you load the game up, it crashes to the desktop on the loading screen. Found a fix that thanks to someone else on the forums.

But the lag I am getting is just horrible and the game is unplayable. Maybe its a codeing issue with certain hardware. Hopefully they will find out what is causing it. Because I love the game.

Yeah but only 50% of those stats are completely wrong, 40% are lies and the remaining 67.3% are just misguided.

On topic though:

I know zero people who has the problems the OP describes, I have seen nothing about it in chat so I'm gonna go with "user error" most likely, ie an error on the users end, not necessarily with the client itself, most probably failing memory or harddrive, corrupted drivers (sound, graphics etc).

EDIT: also there's been quite a few instances where certain firewalls and/or antivirus programs has caused programs to crash.
No matter how right you think you are, consider that you might be wrong.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Some people just shouldn't have the right to announce it.

The client is fairly stable, but the Error 9000 where the server times your connection out needs to stop.

I have found a site which lists the many problems people are having with the swtor client and some possible solutions.

None of these worked for me but maybe they will for others so here it is.

http://gamebooze.com/fixed-swtor-cra...reen-no-sound/

Hope it helps some people it didn't help me.

Please bioware tell what your doing about it and if some fixes are coming soon?

Players who having no issues then great for you, I am happy for you but please stop trollling this topic pretending there are no issues at all, there maybe no issues for you but that doesn't mean there is nothing wrong with the client, its proven fact there is problems not caused by user error or bad pc's for alot of players and it does need addressing asap.

Thankyou. o7 o/

The game worked flawlessly all during Early Access and then all of a sudden after the end of Early Access downtime and the small patch, there is constant stuttering and spiking of fps..

Also, I never looked before but were there always 2 instances of swtor running, one at around 1.4 gb of ram and one around 300 mb of ram?

Seriously man, if you fixed PC's then you know BSOD's typically aren't typically a Client problem, you're probably have odd things happen elsewhere in your computer and only now are you really standing up and realizing it since it's happening with the game as well (that happens a LOT). It's probably a case of a bad plug n play part somewhere in your PC, go by normal process of elimination that ANY techie would instead of just assuming it's the Client.
