SWTOR's player community has always been one of the worst there ever was.

Can't be much worse than STO, where the community sent death threats to the Devs. Also flaming poo bags.

Thanks for the input. As English is my second language, I use phonetics more than I should. However, I won't take cues from you on word usage in this forum. Probably best if you don't read my posts.

How about learn from your mistakes and try not to get snippy when someone helps you. I'll follow your advice though and put you on ignore, best not to read garbage after all.

CAUTION: DO NOT LOAD SWTOR UNLESS YOU HAVE AFTER-MARKET COOLING INSTALLED!!

Oh, that's happened to Bioware, too:

Its sad that in a social game where we would generally expect to work toward a common objective like FP's Operations and pvp matches instead of grouping for the same in dailies they seem to be more entertained by taking advantage of other players and then insulting them when questioned for their bad behavior. I know its not possible to change the way people are and that's not the point of this post, I am just pointing out a change in the game experience and wondering if its just isolated to the server i am on or is it the same elsewhere.
heh i had some sith waiting on me to clear a room for him kuz he was low level. so i just stopped and sat down and waited for him to either go or turn around and leave... next thing i know he goes stealth and walks on by the bad guys and starts taking the mission objectives.. so im like "well hell, wait i can run faster than him and kill stuff fast so ill just catch up with him" i clear out the room and head to the next one and i see him walking up to an objective.. that is right next to a boss s o i laugh and wait... he takes the objective and bam he is out of stealth and the boss attacks him so i run in and stand on a table and watch him fight it, then watch his companion die, then watch him run over to me, then watch him die. i jump down and the boss attacks me and i kill it a couple of seconds later B^)

Get the objective first, then fight. People need to adapt to the game and not the other way around. These aren't bugs or "broken game", it's the way the game is played.

People don't "own" or "deserve" something just cuz they're standing near it. That's a box of weaponry or a chest just lying in the open for anyone to get, not just for you, your name isn't on it.

I've seen people in Black Hole kill a group and then stand there picking their noses. So I go in and get what I need only to be flamed for it. If something is important to you or you need it then why aren't you getting it? Or they want to fight Quarl but they're just standing in front of the panel picking their noses again so of course I'm going to click it and get it done, and then cue the flaming.

What about the people that camp at the mob right outside Eyes/Ears waiting for the mob and weaponry spawns? I'll see the mob appear and engage it only to be flamed with "GT*O THIS IS MY SPOT" or something similar. I think they made a HUGE mistake making the Black Hole spawns virtually instant cuz now there's campers like this who think they own the area.

If your topic is "the community is changing for the worse" and referring to how the community just wants to come here and complain all the time when something isn't going their way, then I agree 100%, it *is* getting worse. If you mean it's getting worse in how people actually play the game, then I agree 0%.

I just had 2 Drall Engineers ninja'd in front of my while working on this, I just laugh it off and move on cuz they'll respawn in about 5 seconds. It's not worth the energy and effort to QQ about some non-existent "Ninja problem", just LOL and move on.

During the summer - post server transfers - there was a point where players would actually have to camp clickable spawns in order to complete the quests in a reasonable amount of time; you could spend an hour or more speedering around trying to find munitions boxes in Black Hole or you could spend 20 minutes staring at one of them, killing the mobs that guarded them and clicking the second it spawned.

Now at least the spawn timer for those boxes and the drall cages was halved (I think) and while the occasional "thief" runs in as you are killing mobs it is not nearly as detrimental.
My favorite trick is to send Kira in to round up all the mobs and butcher them, while I rescue the dogs. She seems to enjoy that
