Legacy Cargo Bay

I'm sure you missed it as I already said that in an earlier post.

I don't care which way it goes but since were pretty much already there. No real reason to not embrace it in a rather high priced legacy cargo hold. Since at some point, for you to have the actual item to place in the cargo hold, you would have had to run the content in the first place. No reason to not allow an alt to use it.

but I'd take it if all it did was hold mats.

I'm pretty sure there the same. At least I think there all the same.

as for the bound items i wish the none p2w items such as speeders and pets all to be BoE

Crafting is the main but not the only. I'd like it for:
- Unbound orange set's, like a sharable waredrobe
- Unbound blue/purple weapons and armor. Sometimes this sells well sometimes it doesn't. Having a shared bank I'd keep more of this for alts rather than GTN vendoring all of it.

it's a convenience factor, I don't want to have to mail stuff to an alt, frankly because I only have a few characters 1 50 and the other 2 are sub 20 i would rather toss stuff into my legacy cargo bay and when my alt gets to a high enough level i can just grab it and go, no loggin in and mailing things to another of my own characters.

Ohhh look here is this new shiny with Aim, oh wait I dont use Aim, I don;t have an alt that does yet.... vendor trash.... oh wait legacy bank i can save this... Chevin Event... heres a cool crossbow, oh wait I dont have a sniper, save to mail later...

Yes, there is, You did not earn the bound item on that alt. When I run Fp's and Op's wih my guild, if no one needs a drop, it goes to a companion is someone could use it for their companion. Most drops go to companions or are sold to a vendor, since most drops are a sidegrade, at best. Imagine if a player could take all those drops and send them to an alt, whether direct, or through a legacy vault. That free set of tionese we get at 50 now would be a downgrade, with all the gear that player could send to their alt.

This could theoretically make them geared for OPS, but not ready for them. I'm sorry, but running an OPS as a ranged DPS, or even melee DPS is far different than trying to run it as a healer or a tank.




The bonuses are the same. The difference is that with campaign gear and beyond, the bonus is tied to the armoring, not the shell as is the case with tier 1 and 2. A bound piece of rakata cannot be sent to an alt, but the modifications can by way of legacy armor. The set bonus would not go with the modifications, though, since that is tied to the shell of the armor. So, though you can send modifications to alts via legacy armor, the bonuses may not transfer.

This would make crafting so much more fun

Just because something can be mailed it still does not mean it should be.

Do you think they should remove the mailbox because you can walk to your friend and give it to him in the hand just like you can give an item to a friend while you change characters?

Well to put it simple a legacy cargo bay would remove the need to mail items between characters and that way you can easily share crafting materials and BoE drops with other characters if needed. Easier for you as a player and less hassle with mailbox.

I hope BW can see this!
