Harvest Moon is legitimately a great game actually. Would recommend if that kind of game is your thing.

Because distance affects combustibility.

C=d*t/l
C = Combustibility in space
d = distance
t = time
l = gamer logic

Now it all makes sense.

Then they need to stop calling it "light speed" and the movie shows them just moving really fast. Bending space would mean they don't really move. Rather they sort of "teleport" to the new location. Even Macross got that right with the SDF folding to new locations.

And still doesn't make sense when they call it "light speed" when they need to move faster than that to get around the universe.

The point is, if you want to enjoy this game, let go of the science behind it. Why not just argue why people with sniper guns can only hit targets from something like 35 yards away. Worst. Snipers. Ever?

I have played every Harvest Moon released in the last ten years. It's a fun little game when MMO burnout happens.
I'll probably die if you group with me, but I'll go out with both lightsabers drawn stabbing someone in the face. Probably you, but it's cool. Forever Shenanigans!!

That must be it! The further the Galaxy, the more stuff burns and makes noise in space!

In reverse order!

Blasters fire plasma, not lasers.
Cloud city is kept aloft by repulsor lift technology, same as speeders.
We don't know how many planets have breathable atmospheres in out galaxy.
Sheilds?
Replusors?
It's plasma in a force containment field.
I think George said feedback from internal ship speakers.

Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Just accept it. All the star wars movies feature fire and sound even though there is no sound in space.
