Similar to XP unlocks. I could be totally wrong, but that's what I'm thinking right now.

I was hoping Rift would be the last game I saw a reputation system in. I hated it in EQ, I hated it in WoW and I really hated it in Rift. I'm sure i'll hate it here too.

I want to see what else "rep" does for your character. I'm not even mad if its only a title or whatnot, I just want to know what is in store. No use in complaining if they come straight out and tell us, "hey rep is for titles and bragging rights", I just want to know. If someone wants to ragequit over that, then so be it.

Will see, there is alot of potential grind in store, but if done right it could be good. I still feel the factions in EQ's Velious expansion made for some of the best MMO content ever produced.

I'd imagine there will be speeders and pets available at the top rank...if nothing else it will give players something to do to kill time, a thing this game severely lacks.

Normally I would assume that we might see some vendors selling stuff for those reputations, but the CE vendor got just once something new, and BioWare puts all the pets and speeders now into cartel packs, so I doubt that there will be more than just titles.

If they withhold items to buy from the rep vendor so they can put it in the cash shop instead I'll be sad...they are focusing all their attention on micro transactions and not enough on the game itself. That's a sure fire way to lose subscribers.

What factions could we see out of this other than Rep, Imp, Hutt, and Gree? It might be nice if WZs started putting my Gree sympathetic Imp with gree sympathetic Reps against Hutt loving imp and Reps. change up the feel at least.
