Have to say, I love the look of that gear. Fits with the Gree styling that you see in TFB. I hope its acquirable and adaptable. Looks like they're toning down the shoulders, which is my major nitpick with the current gear. My girl does not need to look like a linebacker, tyvm.

Rep grinds...have to see how it goes. I usually only do rep grinds that are fun since they're optional content for the most part, unless there's a reward I really really want.

I'm curious how they're making this reoccurring. Whether it'll be like the Darkmoon Faire in WoW or an hourly pvp match like Wintergrasp or some other method. More information please!
aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?

As long as they don't stick SP PvE content in the middle of the open world PvP arena? Knock yourselves out it's just there are reasons why I play on a PvE server (namely I'm a total carebear) and forcing me to be flagged for PvP makes me far less likely to attempt the content.

IF that means more quests then great, if its just a marker for what you normally do then no real biggie

Love how one person makes a thread 99% use it, then the rest go start the same thread just under it

Yeah what I was thinking. If it's more useable content that is great. If it's just another version of legacy where you get it by default of doing anything then bleh. Been legacy 50 for a long time and nothing about it was interesting since it just was kind of there by default.

The armour has a 'wow' factor that the current armour lacks. If the gear shown in the screenshots is in fact wearable, I am going to be on happy player

Not all content is meant for PVE'rs. If you're not a fan of doing PVP, then you'll just have to wait till the next patch for content you can enjoy.

Of course, this may be a moot point as no one really has enough info on 1.7 to know for sure that the content will require PVP. Perhaps 1.7 will be another "**** you" to PVPers when they announce they're removing all PVP features from Ilum and making it a PVE wonderland.

HK is PvE content, I don't get your point?

Gladly, which is my point. I don't care if this is PvP or PvE content, as long as it isn't pushing both together.

I get the impression they are making it like a type of wintergrasp/tol barad zone where we fight for control so we can kill a pve boss...I wonder if it will have a separate queue or if its just free for all for anyone in the zone.

As for the whole rep grind I am not pleased with that at all. I burned out on rep grinding when I got my Insane title in WOW...do not feel like doing yet another grind and I'm already burned out on doing dailies in swtor. I'd rather have them set up tiers of bosses you fight to gain this prestige.

Sometimes a mix of PVP and PVE can be a good thing.

Not sure if you're familiar with WoW, but they have a battleground (warzone) called Alterac Valley and when it first came out there were quests that you could complete within it that gave you rep gains which could be used to purchase items. The quests involved killing other players and NPCs and it was a blast.
