probably wont have to fight anyone, remember back at launch imp and repub got together on ilum and took turns mass killing each other to get the daily/weekly done in like 30 seconds?

lol, think I still have a few screenshots of it somewhere

Well, it *was* an auto-flag area. There's no evidence that it will stay that way, and plenty of supporting facts to state that it'll change.

do not look for massive new Open World PvP this year
quite a departure from what was there before

It's going to be a PvE area, guys. Enjoy!

Wonder what the Imperial Mobile First fleet is - correllia? Ilum? Belsavis peaks for itself of course. It's interesting the Voss are listed as AFAIK there are no repeatable quests there just the lvl 47 bonus and out so I wonder how you are intended to grind rep with them.

Any ideas?

Do I really need to mention how PvP shouldn't much need gear since it should be skill based?

This is (Assuming it works like it seems) the equivalent of telling PvP'ers that they have to run a flashpoint after every player they kill.

PvP and PvE are not the same, different players enjoy them for different reasons and pushing them together only ever ends badly. You would have thought that splitting the servers into PvE and PvP showed they realised this, but clearly not

Made me want to get on my Sith Assassin and grief them if I could, but I refused to stoop to their low level.

Lets face it, open area PVP does not work. There is never any balance, what is the accomplishment in something like this. Nothing. Reminds me of LVL 50's running around the LVL 1 to 10 first planet, challenging people to a dual. WHY?
Let's face it, PvEers are never content with an Op or two either. Does that mean they should skip PvE content updates that'll be beat the 1st night it's released? Of course not.

You've had your PvE updates - no need to get bent out of shape that this one includes PvPers.

I don't think anyone minds PvP updates, but this seems like a PvE objective stuck in a PvP area. Make it only drop PvP gear (No titles or any other PvE reason to be there) and most people will be fine with it.

Yeah, if this is Cartel Coin unlock...

I'm so getting it!

And for those complaining that the gear doesn't look Star Wars-y, the Gree are a mysterious race, and they craft their own armor. What's to say it has too look mainstream Star Wars? I mean, the gear the Gree give you on Coruscant probably wouldn't have been mainstream except for it was low-level. Probably the Voss/Republic/Imperial rewards will be more "normal" than the Gree rewards.

SWTOR is a gear grind game...for PvP and PvE.

I have a nearly full EWH geared set for PvP and a nearly full 63 set for PvE...it IS very possible to enjoy BOTH things.

You already get titles from PvP not sure how titles are PvE only that makes no sense. The objects are setup or at least from the look of it they hope that people will have to fight each other for these items that return PvP gear/items. I had to do PvE crap to get HK so this is fine.

Fine, then stick to your flashpoints and operations and let the PVPers have some open world PVP with a reward system.
