Returning Sin' coming back and trying to gauge if I still want to play my character or keep with my BH (which I'm enjoying). One thing I didn't really like was my Sin's dependance on Maul. Is it still like that (I'm planning on speccing to Deception) at end game?

Maul will be a significant part of your dps in both deception and madness, it is so cheap on duplicity proc that it will be a crime to not get it.

you're not "dependent" on it though; deception takes most of its damage from shock and discharge, and madness with DF and dots.

Take it out of your rotations and watch your dps plummet.

Maul should be used for both dps specs in the game, its very cost effienct when proc'd and does allot of damage as well.

maul is a enormous part of your rotation from my own play experiences. i normally open up with a maul, stun, maul(with duplicity up) at this time they are half dead then just rinse and repeat this. so yes maul is worth it
Op translusnegenics we pew pew like a boss

If you're going DPS, you shouldn't have agro anyways so why would you pass up to deal additional damage when a mob or player's back is to you?
