Looking for clarification. I now have 16/16 slots. If I wanted to delete a character and create a new one, will I have 15/16? Will it go down to 15/15 and make me buy the extra slots? Just curious because the breakdown of characters that I have from the server mergers left me with triples of some professions and only 1 of other types. I'd like to balance it out and have 2 of each advanced class but I'm not going to delete if it gets rolled back

I'd like to balance it out and have 2 of each advanced class but I'm not going to delete if it gets rolled back Not a CSR, but my understanding from piecing all the bits of information together is that you'd go down to 15/15 unless you applied four Add Character Slots to your account. Rationale: - Default maximum for subs is 12 per server - People who have > 12 still have access to any extra characters But that feels more like grandfathering in characters rather than grandfathering in extra slots. You have "extra slots" only so they're not forcing you to delete or deactivate characters.

Cheers. Hey wow , just read this now as i was on swtor for a few hours that's a great find . Thank you. That changes a few things too in a good way , they are expensive atm on my server but I'm sure once people start filling up their slots up to 22 we will be in business. Now I have the dilemma of keeping my chiss or buying them and making her a cathar , cries. Still great news and yeah i guess the forums are my regular haunt . Cheers, BadOrb.

Today I added 2 more slots but a lot of my characters are now being forced to be renamed. WHY? EDIT: Ok. I logged out for about 15-20 minutes and went back in. The force rename was taken off so for anyone who sees it, do NOT rename your toon unless you want it renamed. Sort of a free rename bug.

Cheers. Btw, I did this for my last 2 I mentioned in the previous post. They were costing twice as much on Shadowlands and it was on Pot5. So people doing this if you have characters on more than one server, check the prices. I didn't check JC because all my characters there are lowbies so doubt they can afford it.
