You claim to be a programmer and project manager then try to tie debugging together with credit card payments and UI graphics work? Yeah, I'm sorry, I don't buy it. If you are a programmer you certainly don't work in the video games industry.

You also seem to be terrible at paying attention to detail when you claim most of the bug fixes were related to Cartel items when in truth only the first part of the patch notes related to that. 4/5th of the bug fixes were not related to Cartel items at all.

Yeah, I'm sure your UI programmers are intimately familiar with the business logic that lurks deep in the bowels of the software. Why not pull in the web developers working on the company website too? Surely they can get up to speed in no time at all even though they've never seen the buggy code and it's in a different language than what they're accustomed to.

Also, consider that there are people who hate the space missions with a passion and would never run them. I'm sure those people would be thrilled if Bioware just dropped everything else while they fix the space missions.

Hang in there OP. Yours is a good sentiment. They are back at work and updates are should be dropping on a regular basis again.

Because of the way the holidays fell out this year it was a long haul with out an update and I feel last nights patch was a good starting point.

And... you knew this was bound to happen here OP. But, remember, you are not alone. This patch only handled a sliver of what needs to be fixed, but it is a work in progress. As such I appreciate the update for what it is and look forward to more. 1.7 is now around the corner and I hope the fixes ramp up leading up to it.

I'd post more links but didn't want anyone getting their panties in a wad. Look, the game is imperfect. EVERY game is imperfect. Beating it like an alien stepchild does nothing but indicate how badly you want to beat something.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

Keep it up, Rise of the hutt cartel is pre ordered and the game seems to be heading in the right direction in my eyes.
BioWare consider the ideas in THIS thread.

Went straight to make a post like this myself. This patch looks very promising, thanks BW.

Intimately familiar, no. Able to take on some secondary tasks for them while they tackle the large issues, certainly. Then again I'm sure it takes more than 4 months to fix some of these issues, you know, like the 32-bit crash bug that's been around since 1.4 (which was released on 9/26) that they have over 1000 reports of with and tons of diagnostic data to work with on. I know I personally have sent in over a dozen reports with diagnostic data attached to them since it first started happening and know several others who have done the same.

So you showed that a few people got a refund.... NOT everyone in those threads stated they did.

Post as many threads as you want...... I still told the truth.
People lost out in that situation.... people have just lost out in the roll back.... EAware stated there is an issue with their coding.....

Sorry the truth hurts.
I have been called a hater for voicing my opinion. So be it. But I would rather die on my feet, then live on my knees.

You used the words "No one takes the time to look" which makes it your truth, not the truth. The truth is that issues do exist (doesn't bother me though it obviously bothers some) to varying degrees which appear to be client dependent. For what it's worth some if not most do actually take the time to look. Even if only one were to do so then the "no one" truth becomes false. The truth is that the game still has thousands of players logged in at any given moment playing the game. Which means the ailment you turned into a tempest isn't game breaking.

If you care to remember all the way back to last page when I openly admitted "No one is denying that issues exist. There is core truth to much of what gets reported here" ... I also added that trolls try taking it to extremes with "BS exaggerations of gamebreaking severity intended to drive people away or piss people off." That's what trolls do ... they keep mindlessly flicking earlobes to elicit responses. They'll turn a fart into reports of a diarrhea epidemic in retaliation for something as mundane as mommy making them eat their vegetables.
