It's not just one piece of armor. MANY pieces of the cartel armor were changed. I did a list of some of them here http://www.examiner.com/article/swto...urchases-of-it but I didn't get them all before the server went down (and I don't even know what all of them looked like to start with).

The real issue is that there was no warning about he expected change anywhere obvious for people who might want to buy these items because of how they looked previously, not because of how they looked in an advert most people didn't even look that closely at. And then they waited almost a month (two in the case of the trailblazer outfit) to make any changes.

Sorry, but that's bait and switch and it's illegal. You can't screw with real money purchases like this.

They didn't think. If they had refunded people and fixed the images (cartel market pictures, am I right?) quickly they would have pissed minimum amount of people and avoided the need to make any changes to the armor itself.

Then they could have put the armor on sale like it was ment to be with new name and correct picture.

EDIT: Then there would be 2 happy groups with new armor they liked ("wrong" and corrected) with minimum amount of grief and labour.
:laser:

Buying it off the GTN is your problem though and not BW's fault that you didn't pay attention to the fact it wasn't as advertised and BW has every right to make it correct.

Further made true as Bioware shortly after complaints explained, in the forums, that this was something they were going to fix in an upcoming patch.

The worst thing is that the players complaining are more than likely the ones whining over how players nowadays feel so "entitled". Its beyond ridicolous to demand that this fix is reverted. So incredibly selfish in fact that its an insult to anyone who spent real money to get, for example, the items in the packs only to be realize they don't look at all as they should.

The main problem is most people DID NOT know that it looked "incorrect" or that it was going to be changed. Otherwise it would not have been a hot-ticket item on the GTN and no one would have bought it until they could preview its actual look before purchase.

As I have every right to vote with my wallet and not buy stuff from a company that requires I search through forums and pay attention to every tiny detail in the advertisement pics, in case it is false advertisement and they change it later on that premise.

More rights than Bioware, in fact, as in those cases you give the customer a choice for a refund/swap, not take away what he has and give something different regardless of what he wants.

GG Bioware.

GG Bioware.
I work in a callcenter for a major telecom provider in Sweden and you sound like a typical ignorant person to me. Its the same old story,

"I bought this phone on a second hand internet website and do not posses the warranty papers for my phone. Help me!
"No. I'm afraid you need the warranty papers in order to take use of the products warranty."
"HELP ME. I USED MY MONEY TO BUY THIS THING!" (Not even true in this example)

You see. Their only responsibility is to their actual customers that paid actual money that bought it because of their actual advertising. Feel free to vote with your wallet, absolutely! But do not kid yourself, nor anyone else, you are at fault.

It looks like crap now. If they are going to change it, after I already bought it. I want it set back to unbound so I can sell it.

Though with the way it looks NO ONE will buy it. So I guess we are stuck. I will just delete it. It looks horrible. Worse than the Reven set now and that set was really bad. It looks like my male characters are wearing some awful blouse.
