I know, right? Mind=Blown. So if you want more 'jedi robes', then pick up the level 11 jedi robes you get after leaving Tython, and just keep upgrading those!

Wow.
if you strip the mods it's

A. EXPENSIVE
B. You don't get the set bonus.

Wow.
OR!!!!!

People can tell them they don't like the looks of them.
Then they can either STOP wasting time on them, and make something decent.
Or they could just have the mods/enhancements/armoring drop from bosses.
( I prefer the mods and such just dropping, but that is me)

OR!!!!! we can say nothing, let them keep wasting time on it, and just use what we want.

Which seems more sensible to you?
I have been called a hater for voicing my opinion. So be it. But I would rather die on my feet, then live on my knees.

You guys even realize that is on the works already, you can get black hole campaing armorings on the vendors, wich give the set bonuses. Wich are mostly overated imo. But handy no doubt.
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.

You'd loose the set bonus as the bonus is bound to the shell not the armor mods. However, if you grind BH comms you can get Campaign (I think that's their name) armorings that give the set bonus regardless of what shell you put them in. It may take longer to be able to do level 50 FP content but if you really like you're current look the extra time spent grinding BH comms can be worth it.

I totally agree. The high tier gear is downright too exotic and so " unstarwarsy ".

Tionese Jugg gear wouldn't be too bad if it looked more like the progression video armors, which we still cannot attain. So many armor sets in this game are ruined by too many decorations. It boggles my mind at how they screwed up so many sets, and makes me wonder who are these people calling the shots?. Have they even seen one star wars film to base anything off of ? Are they veterans from the old KoToR games?

I.e. All I want is a simple all black robe for some of my sith characters and hood toggles for every robe. Yet somehow simple means no go in this game.

Simple designs in KOTOR were hits out of the ballpark for me.

What a ground breaking discovery. I can't believe that no one else has noticed or made a thread about this before.

And your point is? Just because it's set thousands of years before doesn't mean that jedi and sith dressed like morons. I certainly don't remember any of that crap being in the three cinematics that were released.

The point is that the designers somehow borked up endgame designs. Wouldn't it be nice to get some well designed endgame gear that doesn't suck to look at?
Exactly. The best thing Bioware could do is what was suggested earlier: just have the end game stat pieces drop and let us put them in whatever we we want. It would make this process SO much simpler.
