Just pointing it out cause there is a ton of misconceptions about other classes when you don't actually play them....

Healing Sage/Sorc got 2/3 options to escape roots:
Speed
CC break
Cleanse(on force-based roots)

Juggs/Guard:
CC break

There are issues with this AC, but it is the other two trees, not full heals or hybrid heals... Most perceived problems is due to facetanking and lack of peeling/guarding.....

Being rooted twice? So, the jugg's rooted, he spams the Leap button and leaps before a second root can be applied.
The sorc can't do this, he's perma-rooted unless he gets Egress (in the healing tree).

So does the root button magically get perma-stunned?

After you apply the first root snare them.

No jugg/guard is using leap to avoid being rooted. They get rooted just as much as sage/sorc do.. They are leaping to attack or heal themselves/debuff enemies the overwhelming majority of the time...

Sorry not sure what you mean.

Yeah, they can escape you when snared by leaping away - that's what I was saying.

Leap can definitely be used as an escape.

Are you talking about guardian leap? On my sentinel, my leap is greyed out during a root. But yea. Guardian leap may break roots.

And I disagree with op. Force camp would make sages/sorcs way op. I was thinking an ability that clears your bubble debuff so you can put it in twice in a row when getting focused. Make it have a 1m cool down or something like that.

I mean there is nothing wrong with spamming the root button again, you know like "spamming" the leap button.

Just because it can be used as such don't mean it actually is. Leap is not used as an escape 99% of the time... It's for attacking, healing, debuffing, scoring, gap closing(to attack you). Not to escape being rooted.

And Sorc/Sage still have more escape options than Juggs: Cleanse & Egress

on top of that, as a full spec, roots should not even concern you as much because the class is already "perma-rooted" in order to cast, so why would I waste my time rooting a Sorc/Sage? I WANT them to move....

Then the only way this can be done is if they force push you. Because leap has a cool down. Force push resets that cool down.
