If they ever added new races what would the Empire get?

If sith purebloods can now join the Republic through legacy... anything can happen.

That said- there's going to be no yodas or wookiees- the first because they're ultra rare, the second because they can't use the force- there were I believe 3 exceptions but Lucas ruled out it ever happening again... that and it would defeat the purpose of full voice over.

Cathar we already know we are getting, and honestly, I hope that when they are added, that we get to choose between the variations of Cathar.

With the Kel Dor, the major appearance difference would be in changing of their Breathing Masks, though they might suffer from the same or similar problem that the Miraluka suffer when it comes to some of their Eye Masks.

I didn't think about Voss.

Voss could be neat.
With the Mon Cal's, their Heads and Hands might be problematic with some of the Helmets and Hand Gears

Weequay might present Helmet issues

And well the Sarkhai would be easy to do as they would be somewhat similar to the Mirialan but only having white skin (instead of green) and white hair (instead of being able to choose from any color [other species] or black and brown (Mirialan). But their Tattoos would be the primary difference between the Sarkhai's just as they are the primary difference between the Mirialan
Right, there's always going to be *some* issues, which is why companions like Gault can't show helmets and Guss can't show gloves. So either you "lekku" it by just overwriting the model with the item (or clip it out), or don't show it at all. Either way, the player is gonna lose something by the effect.

True, but as far as the gloves goes, I don't know how to rectify it other then not showing it (at the moment)

But as far as Lekku and things thereof when it comes to Helmets, what I would do (if at all possible) would be to "armorize" the Lekku's/Tendrils. So when wearing a Full Helmet with a Twi'lek, I would modify the Helmet to have the slots for where the Lekku would stick out but have them covered with flexible material & armor platting of some sort that would be layered like scale armor. That would work for the Togruta who have 3 - 4 Head Tails that hang down from their heads, the Nautolans on the other hand having numerous tendrils would be a bit more tricky with that type of thing. For the Chagrian's Lethorns and the female's more pronounced and longer posterior head plates, I would do a similar scaled armor set-up to cover the flesh parts and possibly the Horn parts.

Now as far as the Horns on Male Devaronians and Male Chagrians, along with the Hollow Montrals on the Togruta's, I would either have the Helmets have holes for the Horns to come through or be modified to fit the Togruta's Montrals.

That's asking an awful lot of the art department to basically remodel every single helmet.

It's no secret that the Empire isn't a fan of aliens. The lack of Aliens in the ranks of the Empire gives a big hint.

Except for Sith Purebloods ofcourse. One must obey the highest manifestations of the Force.

If we were going a full non-humanoid race+class story combo, I say we get a droid.

Instead of just having HK-51 be your buddy, imagine BEING your own HK style droid. Where in combat you are a lethal assassin droid while in the talky bits you are 'undercover' as a protocol droid. You could tell the story as you change hands from owner to owner and eventually leading to your own freedom.

Who says that in that period of Galactic History there had been an outstanding Imperial Trooper (or SIS Agent or BH that worked for the Republic or Smuggler that worked for the Empire?) and, on top of that, whose story could be implemented in SWTOR rather than be told through other media?
Plus in an earlier Article that was done on the Bounty Hunter (iirc), they talked about how they thought about having Classes be on both Sides and how some Bounty Hunters do work for the Republic & how some Smuggler's work for the Empire, they stated how it would be difficult with the Story & Everything to create 2 Bounty Hunting Classes (1 Republic & 1 Imperial) while having them have Unique Storylines from each other

Empire should get Rodians.
I would love to go to cantinas and sit down at a table with a smuggler and not shoot first.
And I need someone to buy all the Rodian Flame Silk in my cargo hold.

Republic should get Mon Calamari.
I would pay 49.99 just for the "It's a Trap" emote.
