Meh, as a Vanguard myself I can see where the OP is coming from. Knock-backs and snares are very powerful tools in PvP and Vanguard basically gets nothing, except for gut which is an ultra-krapee snare. He probably plays assault and has no access to hold the line, that is a crucial ability if you need to get away, it has saved me countless times running for a medpack. Assault should get a similar-type ability.

I'd be happy if they would once again allow Ionic Accelerator to work with all cells. At least you'd see a little more spec diversity.

I agree with the Op, vanguards/PT's should be buffed and be given an escape mechanism. It's only the fare thing to do. Everyone has fancy escapes but vanguards. Do the right thing bioware. Buff Vanguards. Edit: Somewhere on the forums i once read of an idea for Powertechs, that i would give them a jetpack disengage, that's a very nifty idea. I wholeheartedly support it. I would do wonders for Vanguards survivability.

I would ditch my merc for a 5 level boost it sucks so much right now.

Vanguard/Powertech is pretty much the only balanced class in PvP at the momment imo. We will never get nerfed again, and we will never recieve a class buff. Our defensive abilities are a joke, and we get killed quick as heck, this is true. However, our on the move burst dps and ranged taunts are great. I was dissapointed with the range nerf, but in the end thought it was good for the game overall. It's also nice knowing that your class is safe from being messed with now, like i touched base on before.
