You seriously can't have missed EVERY Mass Effect reference on Coruscant? Some are pretty straightforward (Justicars), others are pretty well hidden (some NPC names).

Um. Not quite. The hidden fortress is where the general is keeping the princess until they can make a break to bypass the enemy lines to get her to safety. However, your general point is true, and Lucas has explicitly stated that Star Wars creative roots in not only Kurosawa's Hidden Fortress, but also Herbert's Dune books.

While they may have been patting themselves on the back, Mass Effect is not the origin of the word.

I find your lack of faith DISTURBING. Firefly had so much potential to be one of the best sci-fi shows to be ever done, it got canned before it's time. I really wish they would of had a few more seasons. They had arcs set for seasons, like the mystery behind shepard book and why he knew so much.

And other things.

Again, those who merely think of firefly for the 13 episodes they had and not what it could of BECOME, you are just near sighted.

I personally didn't noticed them as I played ME 3 only recently, but now I find that some Inquisitor stuffs like Jadus' one or the ones you get in normal Boarding Party, ressembles pretty to Turians outfits (at least for the type of collar).

And somewhat I feel some similarities between Czerka and Cerberus...
