I'd like to see more info on this 'expac' before preordering!

As I have said in other CE threads, beyond the cool looking statue, music CD, collector tin, a book, map and security and a few other in-game vanity digital items only you can get, what did you expect paying an absurd $180 at the time? I am spending not even 1/10ths of the CE price and I still think its a steal compared to paying for coffee or movies for two.

I got the CE when the price for it tanked. I did not feel that $120 or whatever it was justify me ever paying for something that expensive no matter how much I liked it.

Again, no one but Bioware knows for sure, yet you state that there won't be any pre-50s content like it's a fact.

It's nice to know some people these days still understand the value of money, and what they're getting for it.

The real question is, could we trust further details they provide about Makeb? Can we take their word that even a single feature they advertise will actually make it into the final release of the xpac?

When everything BioWare says is suspect, has to be taken with a grain of salt because they constantly flip flop, I wouldn't believe the details even if they were provided.

Personally, I'm waiting until Makeb releases to buy it, if I do buy it. If it's a full expansion, then it will be worth $20. If it's full of more broken promises, then not only will I be glad I didn't pre-order, but they'll be losing my subscription as well (no point in continuing to play if I can no longer reach level cap.) Either way, I'm not pre-ordering.

Agreed that we need to see more info.

For me personally, I need to see that there's going to be some real changes and effort taken to rebalance the classes. If DPS scoundrels are still at the bottom of the pack by a large margin, I see little reason to invest in the expansion.

I got the CE for 25 bucks. I was saying how posters who bought the CE without fully knowing what was in it are now regretting the purchase. And Bioware is once again putting something with little information out there expecting everyone to buy it blind. Bioware fooled people already once is what I was saying and only a fool would let them do it again.

Nah, I just know the relative value of $10.

$10 is 2 drink at a bar and 45 minutes of entertainment.
$10 barely gets you into a movie and 2-3 hours of entertainment.

Even if the Xpac is horrid, it'll still provide me more than my money's worth of entertainment.

And it's BASED on INFORMATION provided by BIOWARE. There is nothing that says the even more is pre-50 but you are trying to make it out like it is. All the information they have released shows it's 50+. And if there is stuff pre-50, then DAMN... let Bioware say so and prove me wrong. Until they do, then people can only go by what BIOWARE has said.

And what I have been saying about the CE is that expectations on CE box purchases is irrelevant since the box never at any point made promises, warranties or signed contracts obligating the company to expand the collector's edition vendor stock. Now the question has been asked countless of times in forums, guild meetings and there's still not much clarity on the answers from Bioware.

For me people who bought the CE paid and got what they wanted, the statue and a bunch of shiny stuff.

Now if you can find exactly where on the product states that CE subscribers will get more things down the line, please show me.
