Dumbest thing I've ever read. Christmas is huge in Japan and other Asian countries and was always a massive event in Final Fantasy XI and XIV. And Japan is most certainly not a Christian nation. Not to mention that Life Day is just a renamed Christmas celebration in the SWU and all the junk they are selling on the Cartel Market are Christmas themed items.

Moreover, because some people don't do something the majority of others who do do that thing should not be able to do it? If you're an American, your government takes vacation during this month and considers it a national holiday. If you don't celebrate that's fine. That doesn't mean you ramrod your humbug down everyone elses throats.

Gary brings up really good points now and then, but the dude is basically the Skip Bayless or Bill O'Reilly of gaming news.

He trolls and trashes stuff purely for viewers, so it's hard to take him seriously on anything.
RIP The Fatman.

As for the whole christmas thing, no one celebrates christmas as a religious thing anymore lets be serious.
I do and so does my whole family

As do I. Makes me sad he feels that way and it does not apply to this "no one".
Allow me to use my own avatar and signature, I'll think about it. Oh wait...

They need more people on "The Republic" who actually play the game. A lot of the things they spend massive amounts of time focusing on are not in touch with the player base. It's like making a show about a restaurant that you don't eat at.

Just my opinion.. I used to like the show, but it's gone downhill since they've stopped playing.

Just the Santa mount does.
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

It has to be said a lot of SWTOR does seem to be designed with "this is cool" or "wouldn't that be great" without it actually being thought and played through.

Actually Warhammer Online suffered massively from this too, perhaps at its worst when it was full absorbed into Bioware EA - with hindsight perhaps because the same management structures came into play.

The T7 ship gear fiasco has cost them 2 subs from my house. That was before Makeb entered the equation.
See I get the feeling that some people who complain about the space missions haven't actually tried them. They are challenging even if you have T7 gear. It' not an I win set of gear.

Well if you want to make up your own definitions then yes its P2W.

The real definition of P2W is items available only for money that are better than those that can be earned in game.

The items are available in game without spending money, so they are not P2W.
