Not I, since I already pre-ordered the expansion. For me it was a no brainer pay $10 and get an expansion plus help show continued interest in the game which will encourage more development of the game.

I would've gladly paid way more. How can someone not understand that developing games costs money?

It is pretty clear that too many kids here think that elves leave disks of game content on the developers desks during the night.
"Personally, I play a warlock to set people on fire as they run in fear while I steal their souls. As an added perk, I play an undead warlock so I can eat their brains afterwards. I suppose a better question is, why do people play anything else?" (Unknown WoW forum poster)

Except it won't, as proven by the fact that the money spent over the last year has led to NOTHING in the way of "development" other than F2P and the Dawn of the Cash Shop. They can't manage to fix PvP, add new story content, or make this horrendous game engine run worth a crap, and they haven't even tried to do a serious optimization or cleanup pass on the garbage codebase to address the wretched lag, ability delay, and hundreds of blatant bugs that have been reported over and over and over since launch. It took them SIX MONTHS just to get group finder in the game, and that was when EVERYONE was paying. And we still have NONE of the features people have asked for over and over, like guild functionality, cross server queues and WZs, space combat that doesn't suck bats, server transfers, crafting that isn't a sad, broken joke, etc., etc.

This money is going to help them "develop" new ways to take more money from you, without ever getting serious about fixing the steaming crap heap they've created and making something out of this game that comes close to what it should have been.

I have also pre-ordered it. There are so many players out there who believe that everything in game should be free. The funny thing about this is that many of those same players are:

1. F2P and complain about how subscribers are given all of these perks that they believe should be available to all for free. Subscribing costs money and there's an old adage here: "You get what you paid for....." Get over it.

2. Continually bashing the Cartel program because it costs real money to get coins. The Cartel Market was designed to achieve two objectives:

A. Give subscribers a place to spend the coins they earn per month and purchase more(should they wish to) coins to get various items.

B. Give F2P'ers a place to purchase all of the items the Subs have access to so that they don't have to sub. Common sense would tell you that Subscribing would save you money in the long run, so the Cartel Market is
basically a sales tool to get players to subscribe.

This is an MMORPG. It was created to make money.
Jedi do not fight for Peace. That's only a slogan, and is as misleading, as slogans always are. Jedi fight for Civilization, because only Civilization creates Peace. - Jedi Master Mace Windu

I agreed with everything except for copypasting Quesh and changing the colors. That said however, I could see them doing that. >.>
