Seriously, every other crafter can be a part of endgame gear progression. Yes, we can make crystals, but now they can just buy those through the cartel market. Please, for the love of all that is Star Wars, throw Artifice a bone.

Cybertech can make augments and implants
Synth/Arms/Armor can make augment kits
Biochem makes medpacks and stims

Artifice gets crap all...

I'd love to be able to send my alts some Rakata relics, the ones who've just reached 50 anyway.

I was disappointed to discover that I cannot.

Cyber makes armor, mods, ears, Ship parts, and gernades (the gernades only useful in pvp really but will likely get nerfed sometime soon). They get no rakata level schem from the trainer.
All end content stuff has to be RE'd from drops, buys of GTN or from other crafters.
Syth/Armor get rakata level belts adn bracers (useless as they are not modable, and armor and mods bought with daily coms are better). but are also bound in the same way.

Your best bet is to buy BH gear and RE the enhancement; also you can buy the relics off the Daily vender and RE to learn them too, but considering how easy they are to get anymore no point I would focus on enhancements. You are not as alone as you think, the end game crafting in this game needs a lot of work. And for the most part it seems the Cartel market is going to kill most of them.

so you are saying making augment kits is good, if u ever made a few u know its more pain and not really worth the selling price. arms and artifice can atleast get something good for the end game from RE's. what do synth/armor get, belts and bracers btw doesn't equal customs with 27armorings and mods by a fairly big amount. artifice is better off then other crew skills for end game usefullness.

"Unbounding" Rakata relics now would be completely worthless for Artifice. You're probably better off with the PvP ones anyway. Perhaps could have been a nice thing when BH/Campaign gear was release, so Rakata would have only one step behind.

Though what I can't really understand is why the heck aren't relics schematics for 10-49 lvl. Seriously. You can craft anything, any kind of gear, except relics. Boggles the mind. This wouldnt give you millions over night, but it'd be a really nice thing to have.

But like poster above said, Artifice isnt in a bad position regarding end-game crafting. Armomech and Synthweaving are. All those 2 have are augments and atm, even the highest level ones, feel like low mid crafting, lol

i agree. we should be able to craft relics sub level 50 and not have any light or dark side limitations to them. that way neutral toons can have relics more easily.

You think Armstech has it better than Artifice? Really? Armstech can make power and fortitude augments, and if we're really lucky we can RE campaign/dread guard barrels. Artifice can RE enhancements pulled from black hole gear, campaign/dread guard relics, AND campaign/dread guard hilts. Artifice has WAY MORE options, and better ones too.
