Im betting that the new top of the tree clickable ability plus the current one will make going fully into 1 tree worth it.

Maybe bioware's plan is that since every class and hybrid will be op, none of them will be op! Or something

I've been thinking about this since the first rumors about more levels and the only way I can see it work is if they introduce a new tier of skills somewhere BETWEEN the current trees. So the top tier skills will remain same but there are more boxes on the way to top tier and you need to use the new 5 points in your main tree to get the top skill.

They need to nerf ops again, make it so when they attack it also heals who they are attacking. So how this works out and then nerf them again.
