Is this the one you bought? It's a lesser card than the one I recommended but with all the criteria that I outlined except the CUDA cores. Still a decent amount. You will probably notice some stuttering at the fleet but overall should be about in the 40's for fps.

That would be terrible considering my 4670 goes between 40-60 fps on Fleet :P

I would not buy a 650, the 650 Ti isn't a great card, but it provides far better price/perf than the 650.

The 650 is about half as powerful for about 70% of the cost.

PCIe 3.0 vs 2.0 doesn't matter. Not even on the fastest cards it's a small percent difference between 2.0 and 3.0 with a 680 or 7970 stuttering GHz card, but you have a locked 2.8GHz quad core in a dual threaded IPC race MMO... So stick with something below $150.

PCIe 3.0 only matters with multiple cards on high res/triple screen systems, don't worry about it.

So which is good thats around 100-150 lol? cause with my settings right now i stutter when i go by the auction house whatever its called cause of alot of ppl then its smooves out i dont get much lag like maybe 20 percent of the time with the crappy video card i have that came with gateway. i didnt buy anything yet. imma about to buy somthin today lol.this is driving insane...some ppl say this is good then its not.. im soo confused.

It's possible you are CPU limited in those areas.

Before you purchase anything you should probably figure that out, as a new GPU won't help you in situations where your cpu is the limiting factor.

Everyone has an opinion

You should download this: http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

Monitor your gpu usage when you feel your performance is the worst, if you're getting low gpu usage chances are the bottleneck is actually your CPU. If your GPU is running at full usage (99%), than you'll know you're GPU limited. (Unless you're using vysnc, which would just mean your gpu doesn't need full power to reach 60 fps, but then 60 fps shouldn't feel jerky)

That is far from the truth. In fact that is pretty much a lie by someone who does not know anything about graphics cards at all.

First of all the microstuttering issue on the Radeon cards can be solved by making gaming profiles in Radeon PRO.
Second of all it has nothing to do with the hardware on the AMD cards.
Third of all it has something to do with the drivers. The way AMD optimized the cards to perform really good but at the cost of stability of the rendered frames. Shady move by AMD to get better numbers in benchmarks.

So to sum this up any person who actually likes to fiddle with drivers and optimize their system can get a really good experience with AMD cards.
But I would say that Nvidia is more noob friendly. But don't get me wrong you still need to fiddle with your drivers to get a good result.

For an example I'm playing this game on dual GTX 680 and I have adaptive vsync on and playing with nvidia surround.
Still this game engine is so horribad the framerates drops under 60 and the microstuttering that adaptive vsync is supposed to remove becomes very annoying to say the least.

If I then would compare my system with dual 7970 running Radeon PRO with adaptive vsync on and frame limiter I am sure they would get pretty much the same experience and in some cases it would be better.

From what I'm reading it has allot of CUDA cores. It's the 3.0 x 16 so you are future proof for a while, it's low and slim form factor which might be an issue with your stock Brand PC and it's cool and quiet. Check the room in your case. Some of these cards can get quite big.

Also this is kind of designed for people with limited space and cooling ie people who want to play the latest games but don't want to rebuild their computer. It's only 128bit though but with the extra cores you should be ok. Also you can get a second one in the future if you ever want to upgrade the rest of your system. It's $139 and comes with a free copy of ACIII.

If you want a 256bit you will need to spend at least $179. I went through the same thing and found the price point stopped at $250 ish. Then it jumped to $400-$500 for the better card. It was small increments up until the $250 mark yet performance wasn't hugely better for the $400-$500....see what I mean...drove myself nuts.
That card using PCI-E 3, 2 or 1 would not matter. Not enough juice even in the best dual GPU cards on the market to fully utilize PCI-E 2.0 bandwidth.

I just wanna know what Graphics Card is Compatible for my PC and Good for this game on High or Ultra Settings.

I can play right now, I've been playing this a week before launch. I had to mess around with the graphics settings on swtor and made it work out.

I think this video card works on my PC but im not too sure about it..
H775F1GD Radeon HD 7750 1GB (128bit) GDDR5 Displayport HDMI DVI (HDCP)
PCI Express X16 3.0 Graphics Card.

Thank you.
My advice is that if your PSU is powerful enough save money for some time and get yourself a GTX 660 Ti. It will be perfect for most situations. It is a good card for the money.

Your CPU is a Intel Core i5 2.4ghz 4 core CPU. It is more than enough for most situations in this game. It will not bottleneck a GTX 660Ti in most situations.

Just to give you an example, I'm using my i3-540 system with a GTX 470. I use custom .ini settings, 2xMSAA with 2xSGSSAA for the -3 LOD bias.

I have my i3-540 overclocked from 3GHz to 4.3GHz, here is a screen shot of my GPU and CPU usage at the GTN area as I suggest you yourself check so you'll have a point of reference.

https://39nzca.blu.livefilestore.com...eck.PNG?psid=1

You'll see my usage is low at first, as well as my fps (around 30), then it changes to higher usage on the GPU as well as higher fps (around 50).

The difference? Visible Character Limit. 30 FPS with the same CPU and GPU came from Very High, 50 in the same system was obtained with Low.

Like every other MMO I know of, SWTOR is dual threaded... Meaning having a quad core just means you have two cores that do nothing. My guess is you are cpu limited in the areas that are your current concern, my suggestion is to not purchase a GPU if your issues are arising while in highly populated areas but instead simply turn down the Visible Character Limit if you don't already have it set to Low.

I have to leave soon for a doctor appointment and tigerdirect is right by it. try to kill 2 birds with one stone 1 trip.
