I can confirm that upgrading to 64-bit fixes the memory leak, or at least completely stops the crash to desktop problem.

I was originally running 32-bit Windows 7 and had crashes every hour or two, and I simply got frustrated to the point that I had a 64-bit upgrade disc, and decided to do so. Haven't had a problem since.

If you can, I'd suggest giving it a try. But it sucks that you have to upgrade to 64-bit just to get the game to work properly.

1. server: harbinger
2. character: granitte (but affects all)
3. crashes every time on cutscene in flashpoints. This one is the very end of esseles, after final boss is dead, after shuttle back to republic ship, during conversation with last guy. also crashes in beginning of red reaper. Seems to crash when outside the ships window it enters hyperspace.
4. <see above>
5. dx-diag :

7. this is a crash to the desktop. one moment I'm playing the game, the next I'm looking at the windows desktop (and it's not just an alt-tab - the game is gone).

Can someone on a 32bit OS try the below and advise if it helps

1. While SWTOR is running Cntrl+Alt+Del and start task manager
2. Process Tab and locate the SWTOR.exe using the most memory
3. Click "Show processes from all users" (if necessary) then Right click SWTOR.exe and select Set Affinity
4. Check only processor 0 and 1. Leave the others unchecked.
5. Click okay

Patch after patch after patch, and still you haven't fixed it? Getting so sick and tired of you...
