I'm sorry to tell you they won't. BioArts will not justify charging us for anything they choose to charge us for.

The real question, IMO, is why is the hood down jedi armor more expensive than the "expansion?" I'll save my own time: they won't answer that either.

Funny. I thought the implementation of the Cartel Store was the Rise of the Hutt Cartel. And no, I do not like what that story has to offer. I keep getting screwed in it.

You are confused because of the semantics / marketing game BioArts is playing.

It comes down to your definition of an expansion. Based on the video game genre of this particular type of game, I call this a content update being labeled as an expansion.

Apparently the most vocal among us are content calling it an expansion because they are told that's what it is by the people selling it.

Ultimately, the choice is yours to believe what you want. No one will convince you (or me) otherwise.
I disagree for the simple fact of the level cap increase. Content patches are exactly that - CONTENT. An expansion includes more than just content, specifically in this case, the level cap increase and more class story; no content patch since release has included more class story...Makeb does.

If they follow the WoW model (which they have been doing, with the lone exception of F2P), then there will be free content updates (dailys, FPs, WZs, OPs, quality of life updates, etc) after this expansion. And then 18 months later there will be another paid for expansion.

But he is a golden opportunity that when we ask for communication, we get it. A little clarification here, can and would go a long way.

Thank you for saying so. But really need EA/BioWare to confirm, deny or explain how there are gonna do things different.

They have already made the determination in calling it what it is not: An expansion.

BioWare Announces Rise of the Hutt Cartel, the First Digital Expansion for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™

I'm afraid that this will be the only thing that you will see 'officially'.

And, to clarify - I don't know where your quoted poster got the information about class story continuing in this content update. It certainly wasn't from anyone breathing at Bioware, or a real person:

There are lots of great moments for you to enjoy, and it will be shared as two clear storylines. No class specific storylines are included, though I know you guys are going to love what RotHC has to offer."

We hope this helps clarify!

You have to log out and log back to see it. At least that's what worked for me.
Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic.

Allyson and Joveth have proven a few times to come up with answers we seek. I got my rabbits foot out and hoping for luck.

Okay so I understand we get 5 more levels a new planet, more story all is great but I still need more info then that.

Here is what will help me buy ROTHC:
1. I want to know what the new class abilities are?
2. Interface and UI changes (will I be able to remove Red Error Text)?
3. What about Ilum?
4. Are there mini games added?
5. New Legacy perks?
6. Changes to stats like expertise and if Shields will work better in PvP?
7. Mini Games?
8. Game fluff?
9. Same gender romance?
10. The top secret space project?

To name a few, If you can please provide with more clearly I'll purchase ROTHC right now as my finger's already the buy now button?
