1st Expansion - Rise of the Hutt Cartel

$10? It's a no brainer. Pre-ordered! My only disappointment is that the first expansion is not space, however, this isn't so bad. Usually the first expansion is closer to the 2 year mark, so we're getting something early. The content increase is good. Level increase, but not huge. New planet....new story stuff....and more to come. Sadly, it seems that a lot of people are bashing TOR for doing the normal MMO thing. Everybody gets a pass but TOR.

Before I came here, I just got myself a coffe that almost cost me 4 bucks!

2 coffees like that and I have paid the expansion! So money wise its pretty hard for the chronic whiners to bash on this, if you cant afford 10$ maybe you should saving your electricity consumption for survival instead of playing any game...

I am disapointed there will be no class quest expansion that will probably take another 2 years...

As for those whining about the gear being useless lol, thats is funny, whine about lack of content then when you get some cry in the shower your gear will be obsolete. I think there is things that can be justly criticized, try looking for something that make sense lol!

Can't wait to see my gear that I've been grinding for lately go useless already haha..

I'm mostly happy that they confirmed the expansion will continue our character stories with voice acting. I'm only bummed that we'll most likely have to wait for the expansion in Spring for our Cathar.

As for the price, not sure why people are complaining about it, it's cheaper than most expansions I've seen in other MMOs. Already pre-ordered for me and my daughter's accounts

Sure I'll buy it. I paid just as much for the Mechromancer in Borderlands 2 and found out I don't really like it more than Zero.

Done and dusted. Made my pre-purchase this morning.

Waiting.... is the hardest part.

I'm waiting on ordering the "expansion" till I find some answers to some questions.

Are we getting a new end-game gear tier?
Are the current end-game ops and fps going to be scaled up or replaced? (Or are we going to be level 55s running low-level stuff for sh*ts and giggles?)
Are the skill trees changing or are we just getting more points to put into other trees?
Are the Makeb missions going to vary with classes at all? (In other words, am I going to be repeating the same exact content with every alt?)
Are companion stories continuing in Makeb?
How big is Makeb? Comparable to current chapters? Similiar number of missions/flashpoints typically found in 3-6 planets?
Spring 2013 is when it's scheduled to be released. Are we going to see any other content patches before then or is this the next one?
In other words, is this a content patch, a mini-expansion, or a real expansion?

You might be on to something. I mean, let's ignore the dozens of AAA MMO's out there who give their expansions out as content updates for free. It's not relevant at all!
