Saying the same things over and over doesn't make them true

Many things are designed one way, and used another way. Computers were designed for works and are now usef for playing ... And I can find countless of exemples.

If Bioware wanted to avoid skipping, they'd change the design the the miniboss, but actually, they don't care and they allow us to avoid them. They changed a few things in EC to avoid the skipping between the 3rd and the 4th boss, they didn't in Taral V.

And please, most of us don't really care about a daily commendation and a few credits. What sould we do with our credits/dailies ? Buy stuff ? What's the point to beat some bosses in EC NiM and TfB HM if we already have the best stuff available ? And really there is no fun in farming easy minibosses.

You must have some really ****** character(s) then if you don't need any daily commendations to buy Dread Guard and/or Hazmat gear and no need for money to augment your gear! If that indeed is the case may I ask why do you play this game anymore as with current content there is nothing for you to achieve? Why don't you just wait for BW to release content that rises the level gap that gives you some "challenging" things to play?

Dailies to buy Dread Guard/Hazmat Last time I checked, you can only buy 2 implants with BH commendations and as far as I remember, I never saw a miniboss dropping a BH commendation

About money, do you know that some of us have enough money to buy a full 63 set, but don't. What's the point to gear up with "money" without even dropping the stuff ? I don't need a full 63 set to kill a boss that drops a level 63 armor.

Did a Taral V run tonight where we didn't fight ANY of the bosses, not even the last one. I didn't mind skipping the others because the purple 50/exotech/tionese gear they drop is useless now, but when the tank decided to skip the last boss I asked if we could do it. He said no. One of the DPSs also said he wanted to do it. Tank still said no and threatened to kick us if we didn't follow him to lose the boss's aggro (you have to run through the aggro and then hide behind a computer, if you didn't know). The other DPS wasn't saying anything, so I don't know if he would have agreed to boot us if the tank initiated, but we were already at the end and I didn't want to be punished because the tank was a jerk.

Thankfully, this is not the norm. When I ask to fight something the group usually says they will (unless it's a boss with annoying mechanics) and if someone in my group asks to fight something, I don't care if I'm playing the tank, healer or anything else, I will do it for them (or explain why it's more trouble than it's worth).

MSpectre, I whole-heartedly agree about the nature of people. It's one of the reasons I haven't bothered to try and find a guild until now.

I've been running through playing the primary story and the dailies with my brother. However, other than the one black hole for 6 comms we were woefully undergeared for any of the hard modes and were looking to a very long slog to earn enough to get decent gear. Thanks to the recent update we were at last able to start gearing for some things but as a pair we just can't do the hard modes with our present gear. We've been toying with using the group finder (I probably will at least once for the group finder mission recently dropped) but my experience running with unknowns has been less than favorable.

I agree with the original poster. Other than skipping through dialog that I've heard several times, I want to fight the mobs and mini bosses regardless of the possible rewards. I like to actually play the game not just rush to the final prize. But, too many are growing accustomed to seeking out the shortcuts for the fast reward in all things. It's not just in the gaming environment that it is having an effect on quality of life.

The vast majority of players are thinking like this (and I'm part of them) :

-If noone asks, let's skip everything.
-If someone asks to kill something in particular, let's kill it.
-If someone never done the FP, let's explain the strats.

But many times, they don't even bother to ask, and then come here to whine about skipping. They don't even bother to tell us "I never done this FP", and then whine that we didn't explain the strat. And if, once, only once, a jerk refuses, they spam the forum about how the majority of players are jerks ......

I just rather politely asked you why do you play the game if it does not give you any reasonable challenge and because you want to skip everything possible. No need to rage about that, pal

Also I'm certainly not a troll. I have been in the game since the early release and been waatching how things develop. I started gearing my most recent 50 level a week ago and ended up in a group with people who wanted to skip everythin possible, including middlebosses which are able to drop Exotech gear which was useable and usefull for me back then. I politely asked if we could beat atleast all the bosses because of the drops and all I got was calling people calling me names, whining about how that takes time and how useless the drops would be for them. You know, the regular selfish stuff which is all about "me, me, me...because I don't need, I decided we do this and that". That happened several times during the first days of my gearing and slowly it got to my nerves so dearly I decided to come here and put this thread up so people can see and comment how ridiculous it nowadays is to do end game content.

Congratulations, you met a bunch of jerks and you are now whining on the forums. Everybody should open a new topic each time they meet a jerk or a noob Oh, and don't forget to post add "most of the players are jerks/noobs"

Seriously, you can outgear HM FPs in one run of EV SM and one run of KP SM, especially if you do it with people who just want comms and aren't competing with you for gear. Black hole comms fill in the gaps and you are practically ready for EC SM/EV HM. I'm starting to think your attitude stems from not understanding how gearing up has progressed in this game. Or you just want something to complain and be mad at other players about. After all, if they aren't doing it "wrong," you can't be the one who's "doing it right."
