yes but to even get the dailies that give bh comms you must complete all 6 missions first like you do with other missions must do them once to get the dailys and i think there are only 2 dailys from all 6 quests.
Voyseiri - 50 vanguard, Zi'Kino - 50 sentinal, Nosrionel - 50 gunslinger, Libieso - 50 shadow, Llorak - 50 powertech, Mibanax 50 - Sorc, Reiqui - 50 Juggernaut and a few lowbies

Might as well just run the old level 50 missions. The rewards are the same without spending CC/credits/comms on upgrades.
Mission-wise: No fun at all. Rather than being more challenging, they're just same shooter on rails but the enemy hits ridiculously hard. Total waste of time, and my sub will run out in 3 days and not be renewed.
thats entirly your choice but as i have stressed a couple of times i am all for a challange and the difficulty of these new missions is not my problem with them its the rewards you get from such hard missions. no creds 2 bh comms from dailys. which in comparisions to amount of mats needed to have them crafted (if u dont like to spend real money on cc to unlock them) or even if u do unlock them the rewards dont justify the expense to get the gear. if ur not a cybertech ull have to provide ALOT of grade 8 mats from operations RE'ing wh pvp gear. iof ur cybertech u have to farm 2x 700 fleet comms for each schematic from the space vendor. then u need daily comms for others which is also alot of them required so alot of farming.

the missions are very hard if ur a casual spacer (spacer being term i like to use for people doing space missions) doable with the right timing and ALOT of barrel rolling.

however i do agree with you on one hting and that space combat in this game is largely dissapointing and not wot i was expecting but hey game is 1 year old so im sure they have better plans for space in the future.

i wil also like to add this isnt a moan about the missions but just that bw could have been more specific on wot the rewards were not just the generalization they gave of saying bh comms they should have said pricely how many and told us they dont give credits aside from the bonus quests which is only like 2k creds. i can earn more than that in 1-2 kills in section x dailies. i say that coz had i known before hand that i the rewards were lacklustre and not matching the challenge of the missions in no way shape or form would i have spent my cc coins on the G7 ship upgrades and instead would have brought some of the new packs and tried to get lucky with some cool drops

I am gonna go ahead and throw in my reply, by stating, as CONSTRUCTIVELY AS I POSSIBLY CAN, why this is the WORST thing to come into the old republic ever.

I can't really say it better than it has been said by the original post and replies ahead of me. But:

1. Where's the player choice and compelling ideals that make the rest of this game awesome? This space tier is just an attunement-gated chore, with prohibitively expensive, either in time or resources, acquisition of the attunement, to complement the pay to win faster process of the CC pack sets to get the attunement. The most interesting thing about it is the sound, for your character and companion quips as has often been the case for space content.
2. There's absolutely no cooperative or competitive value with this. The term heroic is being slapped over the top rather ineffectively. There's nothing heroic about it. You can't group to take it on and you can't gain scaling up rewards or outcomes based on improved skill/completion or how well customized/modded out your ship becomes.
3. This could be corrected by making HEROIC events that players queue for, which require awesome space piloting heroics to combine with the efforts of your group. Let's say 2 players running ground objectives, using their companions, and 2 players piloting to create a dynamic experience that's actually worthy of the term heroic, for a piece of content that's shorter and more satisfying than the time it takes to clear out a flashpoint in the group finder, doesn't require a specific role set, and has relevance to things going on the old republic itself that the heros actually care about (an issue that space has always had for lacking a legitimate contribution to the setting of the game). have one with two groups competing in some way either in racing to clear / gather enough of the completion in the area or somehow doing combat against each other and against enemies in an interesting way. this is your chance to create unique content that can differentiate the old republic and really attract former players as well as ones that have never felt drawn to this amazing game.

I'm not as nice as the guy above me with his post. I will straight out say that the new heroic space missions suck. Yeah you heard me biofail they suck. I cleared them all in under an hour including the daily and the weekly quests. I even got all the bonus achievements for my codex.
None of the missions were even a challenge and its a downright disgrace to even classify these missions as heroic. Whats heroic about riding a roller coaster while shooting lasers? NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! If you want to wow your fans and get them interested in space again unleash the SSSP before its too late. Give us 3d free roam multiplayer space...use the full potential of the game and stop half assing it.

How nice for you.

Most of us find them really hard, and you can find several threads on the forum of people who think that they're so hard as to not be fun anymore. I'm kinda tempted to even call you a liar (doing them all in under an hour means that you pretty much did them all on the first try, which seems unlikely, as part of the trick to the hard missions is knowing when to use stuff like EMP. If you've never played through it, you'll probably let it off only to realize that you really need it later...), though it could be that you're just really young and therefore better at twitchy action stuff than us old fogies, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, I guess.

Though why I'm engaging with anyone who used the phrase "biofail" is beyond me...

I haven't played 'em all yet, but I do think they're kinda disappointing. I was really hoping for bigger scale, and only a few missions seem to provide it. Sure, they're bigger, but what I really mean is that I wanted (even on rails) to feel like I was part of a gigantic battle. Instead, lots seem to be: "Assault this fleet, on your own. Sure, we have a fleet with millions of ships (we're talking galactic scale, after all), but we're just sending one small freighter. You don't even get a wingman." My favorite space missions are the ones where, even if it's really just eye-candy, they give you a feeling of being part of a real task force (the "destroy the crippled ship" missions are the best example). Sure, your task force ends up not helping (or, if you want to play along, they help by drawing off other ships or whatever), but at least they try to pretend that this is a military operation. A lot of these missions don't. In a few cases, they've made the target MUCH bigger (such as the base assault mission), but you only see a few allied fighters supporting you (and that only in the first few seconds. Apparently they die almost immediately). Would it hurt to have a bunch of allied cruisers pop in, too? *sigh*

I agree with this response above also. I've always gotten great fun and reasonable gain from completing space. In fact I was a little disappointed when the experience gain on the first time space completions decreased, having used it with all my characters up to that point to reduce my need to hit bonus series and so many of the "trash" optional missions on my less favorite planets.

What it comes down to is just a few issues- the cost of moving up to grade 7 is set too high, which luckily they've acknowledged. In addition some people also believe the challenge level on the missions is too high and fails to have a balanced level of challenge to fun and rewards. The separate issue for space in general is not fitting the pattern of the strong points of this game, especially in what my friend above just described in the lack of strategic aesthetic. Being able to serve as just one key component of a larger strategy and attack force would really add depth.

With super secret space, we're hoping to see that change in the future and some coop or versus modes, along with encounters with a lot more depth via ground/space involvement. In my mind the way the final part of terror from beyond works suggests that an operation or flashpoint could be designed with a space battling segment or way of taking some of the team into space or just in the air over the planet for simultaneous objectives

My opinion on the challenge level is it simply continues the standard set by prior space experiences, with the exception of the one vs the mandalorian, shuttle, and frigate in the asteroid field which amps up to 11 out of 10 intensity. It's a gauntlet nearly the entire time.

I have done the missions now and I did enjoy it a lot as a hot shot pilot title holder. I'm hoping there's a title for this tier?

I started with station assault, station defense, and the one against the "main fighter" and their team, which all took a couple repeats to clear. Then I ran the ice field, which took more repeats to practice taking out the defenses on the primary satellite objective.

I was then pleased to find the escort, which is the most challenging type in the grade 1-5 missions, is actually the capital ship assault mission, my favorite, with a very easy escorting segment at the front. Knocked that one down in a single go.

The asteroid field battle against the mandalorian captain in the minefield was the most intense one. I did clear it on the 3rd try after using EMP to blast the frigate during the first pass. This one presented the biggest raw challenge, since it proceeds to blast you to pieces at any point past the initial 90 seconds without the highest defensive awareness and evasion, with shield boost mode up. Basically they made this one to just pummel you and force you to defend against the gauntlet and take out the lesser ships as a damage prevention measure above all else.

So overall I found their challenge to be even less than some of the level up ones. At times they require more of the tricky and tight collision avoidance, but because I have quite a bit of practice with these space tactics I did not seem like a harsh difficulty curve. I did not run into any excessive wipes with that brick wall feeling. I did not have full grade 7, just at 1000 dps, and grade 7 tactical slots & concussion missiles.

Compared to learning to optimally defeat the leveling space challenges (especially compared to the mine field battle at the level 50 end of things) learning to clear these was only a few runs on each versus a lot of failure & close misses on earlier ones.

You can also gain about a 260 dps increase with the condenser and laser cannon (only with grade 6 defenses that boost 5 to bolt damage, otherwise you will cap at 1200 dps, 200 x 6 shots) but with my current config at 10 shots per second and 100 damage dps is 1000. I found that you can beat the main objectives without the higher firepower with smart shield and converter usage.

It appears you also get 3000-8000 credits for bonus objective Codex unlocks, you earn the credits for doing it even after first time unlock. I only have 13 out of 14 available items for the space achievement codex tab that appeared, similar to how one appeared for tatooine items during the rhakghoul stuff, one came up for each bonus objective target completion in the new missions

it's unclear would the 14th entry should be. I am hoping for a new tier space/pilot title

I have no idea what the in-game commendations and such are or do. I play the game to escape and have fun. The current space system doesn't do it for me. Just me, not saying it isn't fun in the same way a pin-ball machine is fun. But they could have done better. I doubt they ever will now.
