Nothing for Veterans??

I think it's pretty sad when people feel the need to create demand/complaint topics like this one, simply on the basis of their personal desires. It's an invitation for forum argument.

So I guess we can be sad together, but for different reasons.

No one cares how long you've been in the game, and besides if you were in from the start you have a "Founder" title.

Personally, I'd like them to do what WoW did and give us all an XP boost that expires at the end of the week. That would at least get everyone playing and leveling.

Waaaaaay i want free stuff!!!!! Cmon dude... do you want a milkshake with that? You forget they already gave us a free month of sub in the past. They basically gave you 11-13 euros. What else do you want? Greedy.

Here's the key to this whole thing. The OP isn't really after getting his money's worth here through veteran rewards. He wants to be able to run around the fleet with something that tells everyone else that he's been here X number of months. You can also just constantly announce in chat how long you've been playing....in fact, I encourage that....I'm sure people will love it, lol. Unfortunately, people like this don't get that no one else cares how long they've played the game. "Bragging" about something that no one else envies you for is pretty pointless. Let me know when you've cured cancer or solved world hunger, THEN I'll be impressed. The fact that you've had a paid sub for X number of months to a MMO isn't impressive in the least, nor is it a unique "accomplishment" because there's a lot of us who have had paid subs since launch.

It's pretty valid to compared what SWTOR has given versus what other MMORPGs have given.

At the end of the day how they do on that comparrision is entirely up to Bioware EA.

Those comparisons mean nil. If you think another game does something better, so what? If it's enough to draw you to that other game, then what are you doing here?

These boards are for this game, not for comparing it to other games. Do you go to a foreign country and expect everything to be the same as your home? If it's different, do you complain and whine and then demand you get exactly the same as you did at home?

I agree that topics like this are sad but I don't think that gives people the right to point the finger and go on some self entitlement rant. At least with threads like this there is actually a point to the rant, people used to point the entitlement finger just for asking for a patch or saying they are quitting.

I agree that the entitlement calling crusaders are getting obnoxious. Next they'll be calling people entitled for asking for class balance.

People are throwing the "entitled" word around way to much, its being used so loosely for EVERYTHING.

Honestly I see nothing wrong with a veteran rewards program, plenty of other MMOs have had some form of this. People need to stop with all the finger pointing calling people entitled, its unnecessary and frankly is becoming REALLY annoying. You may not care about how long someone has been playing but to that player, it may feel good to get a tiny acknowledgement showing them how long they've been playing. There is no demanding going on, just a simple suggestion.

Most people here seem to think that squashing someone else's ideas will somehow futher their own agenda. One only needs to look at their government to see that this doesn't work. But they do it anyway. They figure if they aren't getting what they want, noone else should either.

I agree, I spent almost 20 bucks on the cartel market and from all the packs I got, I didn't get a single super rare item and I've been a valued member of this game since before beta. It's about time that they give us veterans, as you said, something that isn't a stack of 25 fireworks.
